Will Cena end up breaking/tying Flair's 16 title mark?
Assuming the very high likelihood Cena is winning at Mania this year either from a potential triple threat or getting his "win" back from The Rock, he would end up with 13 major title reigns.

Do you think Cena will actually end up passing or tying Flair's 16 championship mark? Also do you think the WWE would treat Cena as being bigger than Hogan in terms of biggest WWE star ever?

Even if he didn't win the title at mania, he'd probably have at least another 5 years to pull it off based on how heavily the WWE revolves around him. Also a 13th reign would end up tying Triple H for most in recent history (Edge only had 11).

Depends what kind of relationship Flair maintains with WWE over the next few years/if the hierarchy at WWE want to show "respect" to Flair's achievements or not. You have to think that HHH could have done if he'd have wanted to.

Highly doubt it besides with the brand split his reigns are worth about half as much and popularity means jack unless you're strictly referring to the very young demographic that parents buy the shirts for.

Nah, maybe 15, but the WWE doesn't feel the need to keep the belt on Cena anymore. It's clear they are aware Cena is older and the wear and tear is stacking up, which is a good thing as Cena doesn't have to be spammed across my television screen, and he can put over a few up and comers.

I mean, he's not Undertaker old, I'm sure he can still go for years to come, but him and CM Punk are workhorses and will no doubt need some time off in the next few years.

Maybe I'm part of a small percentage but I think we're looking at the last great hurrah of John Cena.

As noted, the wear and tear is stacking up, guy is something like 35 or 36 and while he is still a top guy, he's taken a bit of a backseat of late. That'll change once he's champ, sure, but I think WWE realizes that they can't have another continuous year of Cena/Punk. I wouldn't be shocked if his first feuds as champ were against the Barrett/Ziggler variety

dunno, not sure it matters either really. It'll always be "the 16 time worlds champion!" whenever Flair shows up, dpn't seem them putting much emphasis on it with Cena even if he passes it given he's product of his era, maybe once he's finished and shows up in appearances etc. In terms of them giving him the Hogan "biggest star ever" treatment, I think that'll be down to the fans. So no.
