I like space, I like Clooney, and I like Bullock, so I will probably watch this.

If you're expecting aliens to show up in this movie, look somewhere else. But still, the atmosphere has the same level of intensity as Vertical Limit, Speed, Apollo 13, and Dead Space.

Enjoyed 'Gravity' in IMAX 3D. Outstanding visuals. Not sure I would recommend watching the film any other way. My biggest complaint: Sandra Bullock always had perfect make-up. In space. Where no one can hear you scream for a touch-up.

I'm not sure why anyone would expect for aliens to show up in this film.
Kind of annoyed I saw someone on my facebook timeline complain about the script being the 'weak link' of the film. The script, along with the pacing and cinematography, are probably the strongest aspects of 'Gravity'. |

I had high hopes for aliens in this movie. Thank you, Internet best friend, Ravem Reaper for steering me away from this.

The reason why I said about expecting aliens is because well, the tumbling space debris when I saw the trailer reminded me so much of Isaac Clarke of Dead Space in the same condition when he's isolated fixing things and stuff... So yeah.

Some tears rolled down my cheeks. Wanted to just break down at one point, but held it together.
Saw it in 3D at the IMAX. It was worth it I thought. Really enjoyed the movie, and kind of want to see it again. The cinematography was brilliant. It really made you feel what she was going through to a lesser extent. |
