Unless there are RTS style games, I wont be interested. Was thinking of buying FFVII but not sure what the controls will be like. That's pretty much the make it or break it factor for me with PC games.

FFVII on PC was originally done entirely with the Numpad, and was totally decent. Not sure if they added support for other controls.

Is Ridge Racer: Unbounded any good? At that price I'm kinda tempted. It was supposed to have a lot in common with the Burnout series, IIRC.

I haven't tried Ridge Racer, but if it's anything like Burnout, it'd be worth a try.

I'm waiting for Saints Row The Third: Total Package to hit a flash spot. It is at 50% with a price of 14.99 USD at the moment and felt I should finally play one of those, holding out for 75%.

I'm wary of the humour label anyway, because people are quick to label any game like this "ironic" when there's nothing to differentiate such a game from the standard fare.

I have the game from a bundle (I think a Humble Bundle), so I'ma check it out at some point. Not actually losing anything for trying it since I already have it. Hopefully Roxer is correct and it has some positives.

Bought Universe Sandbox for £2 because it sounded like you could do stuff like see what happens if a comet hit Earth. Turns out NOTHING happens. No sound, either.

Agreed.

It has a cooky kind of humor. The levels are based on killing people but you have to kill them strategically. You have to plan each kill one by one so as to not be seen because if you are you almost always die. The game is very challenging once you get past the first few levels and very enjoyable for that. I'd say it's very much a puzzle game.
