So I downloaded MUGEN with the intention of actually making something, rather than just downloading other peoples sprites. No idea how I'm going to do that as you seem to need a bunch of other things (photoshop etc) to get anything out of MUGEN.
Anyone still into this? Tips on how to actually create spirites and so on? The games window is bigger than my screen. Going to have to figure out how to fix that. I'm aware there is a MUGEN thread but that's from 2007 and I thought I'd make a whole new thread, rather than resurrect that old one. |

Deleted it because it seems pretty hopeless for me. If anyone can give me some info that makes it all each to do/understand without experience and a loads of other programmes, I might re-download it.

There's a lot of sites that can help you better than we can, though if you wanna make a fighting game there's other sources. Me any my boys are looking to Unity and Maya for our fighters, none of them will be sprite based.

I really don't want to have to learn program after program just to throw togethor a wee fighting game as a pass time that me and maybe two other people will like. I was hoping MUGEN would be a bit more helpful.
