Smackdown SPOILERS - Aug. 16th
* The Wyatt Family kick off SmackDown. Bray cut a promo while sitting in his chair in the center of the ring. Kane's pyro hit and he attacked from behind. Kane fights with Rowan and Harper as Bray looks on. They get the upper hand and beat him down. Bray kisses Kane and then hits the finisher. The Wyatts pose over Kane.


1 - Christian beat Damien Sandow. Christian won with a roll up. Christian speared him post match. Del Rio then ambushed Christian from behind, and said he'll never win the title again. He set up the cross armbreaker, but Christian reversed it and hit the Killswitch.


2 - WWE Diva's Champion AJ Lee and Layla beat Kaitlyn and Natalya. AJ hit Kaitlyn with a running knee for the win.


* Renee Young interviewed Ryback backstage. Ryback said he was a bully and then beat up a backstage employee.


3 - Rob Van Dam, Big Show, and Mark Henry defeated The Shield. Big Show caught Dean Ambrose with a KO punch and RVD followed up with a frog splash for the win.


4 - The Miz beat Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter, Antonio Cesaro). The referee ejected Cesaro and Zeb from ringside for shenanigans. Miz rolled up Swagger from behind for the victory.


5 - Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel (w/Paul Heyman) beat Zack Ryder. Axel won with a neckbreaker. Heyman cut a promo on CM Punk after the match.


6 - Daniel Bryan defeated Wade Barrett in a No DQ match. They used chairs, kendo sticks and anything they could find. During the match, Vince McMahon made his way out. Bryan goes for the Yes Lock but Vince pulls the referee out of the ring. This pissed Bryan off. Bryan turns around to a Bullhammer Elbow. Vince calls for a referee and out comes Brad Maddox but Bryan kicks out. Bryan goes to pin Barrett but Maddox won't make the count. Bryan shoves Barrett into a table in the corner. Maddox goes down. Out comes Triple H in a referee shirt. HHH depantsed Maddox and threw him into the announce table. Bryan nails a headbutt on Barrett and Triple H counts the pin. Orton's music hits but he doesn't come out. It's just his video and music playing to end the show.

So in the entire build up to this Christian/Alberto match, you don't give Christian ANY time on the microphone? You kiddin' me son?!

Kind of think it would have been cool if Ryder had rolled up Axel for the win when Punk's music played freaking the shit out of Heyman and distracting the champ. I'm not a big fan of guys earning title shots by beating the champ, but I think in this case it would have made sense and for a fairly memorable moment.

Axel would then destroy Ryder in their eventual IC Title match.

Christian is so insanely good in the ring. That match with Sandow was wicked. I really want Christian to win the World Title at the PPV. Have Ricardo distract Del Rio and Christian Spear Del Rio for the win. Move onto Christian vs. Ziggler, with Christian slowly becoming a more heelish character -- just cocky at first, but then he starts to cheat to keep hold of the belt.

The Miz vs. Jack Swagger was pretty interesting. I'd like it if their issues continued. Have The Real Americans crash a Miz segment at the PPV and attack him, only for The Usos to come out and make the save. On RAW, The Real Americans team with Zeb Colter to face The Miz & The Usos.
