Nortons and Spy/Ad ware.
Nortons detected about 8 items it couldn't delete, any idea how I go about getting rid of them? I also use pest control and it didn't even reconise them.
thanks. ![]() ![]() |

hhhmmm well i reckon what you could do is qurantine the files. Then find out where all the quartine files are located( as in what folder they are in). Then you can manually delete the files from that folder via starting windows normally or in safe mode. Worst case scenario is you gotta delete em in dos.

Go to Norton.com and search for the virus names. They will have fix instructions or if you are lucky a downloadable removal tool that you can use to delete them. Odds are it will say disable system restore, go into safe mode and run norton, and it will work. If you got the viruses in an e-mail, safe mode disallows access to e-mails so you will have to delete the e-mail it came from.
