What direction do you go in IF the Title is on the line in the MITB match?
It's looking likely that Bryan will not be cleared to defend the belt(s) against Kane at the Money In the Bank PPV, so, as stipulated by Stephanie on Raw, the vacant title will be on the line in the Money In The Bank Match at the Money In The Bank PPV.

The question is; do you go with a reliable, established main eventer like Cena or Orton, or try to rejuvenate an Alberto Del Rio by putting the strap on him, or do you go with somebody new as a first-time champion?

New champ. Wouldn't mind seeing Cesaro get a brief run, if even filler while Bryan is out. I believe Cesaro and Bryan could put on some pretty amazing matches.

Either way, the MITB for the title is much more interesting than Bryan v Kane Stretcher Match.

Someone established considering once Bryan returns, he's likely getting that belt back. No need to rush someone's very first title reign considering the circumstances. Wouldn't be surprised if Cena were to win and would set up nicely for Bryan-Cena II feud to occur.

They should still do a separate MitB case match just with people who never won the WWE title.

God no you don't put it on someone like ADR. We've seen how throwing the title on a guy without a proper push and trying to use the title to get him over works out. It shits on the title AND it doesn't create a star.

Before the Cena feud, I would have said Wyatt as champion would be awesome but he'd need to be raised back up again I think to recapture what he had after he beat Bryan at the Rumble.

I'd fucking love Lesnar as champion if he were down to compete once a month. Hell, they wouldn't even really need him to show up on Raw more than once a month either. Paul Heyman and promo videos alone could sell his title defenses as must see.

That way you can do Rollins/Bryan at Summerslam, with HHH/Reigns, and Orton/Ambrose. Maybe by Survivor Series, you can move Reigns to the top spot and challenge for the title.

Putting the belt on Rollins from a storyline sense would make sense in that scenario. Just sucks to think about, since Reigns is the best out of the 3 that he wouldn't get the chance first.

If you have someone beat the streak it seems like a huge waste to have him lose soon after. The "rub" he just got from taker has to last awhile to have legit impact. When he does lose it needs to be a big deal as well for the whole thing to be worth it.

imagine Brock taking the streak and effectively running with it. He could be a huge draw at WM just like taker is/was. You can't capitalize on takers loss if he gets beat randomly at a B ppv.

I think Kane should hold it until Bryan comes back, and then have them feud properly, mentioning the history of Team Hell No and how Kane and Bryan took completely different paths after the team split. It would have helped to have Kane still be Corporate Kane, but whatever, it could still work.

As long as he's healthy enough, I wouldn't mind seeing Daniel Bryan getting in there and winning, just to have someone win a contract earlier in the night to cash it in. I'm thinking Rollins, Lesnar, Kane, or Breeze.

Or maybe make it a mini Feast or Fired gimmick. One brief case has the title, one has the MiTB contract, one has a title shot at the next ppv.

As far as faces go, Cena is still the only guy who can actually make the title seem like something worth winning on the full time roster. They're doing an excellent job building up Reigns but they need to keep building him up for a while. It's too soon and he needs to develop more personality.

I agree with #1 there. I'm really thinking Cena is the way to go. He can give Bryan an honest shot when he gets back and drop the title back to him, no harm, no foul. Or Cena could actually turn heel and align with The Authority and give us the most shocking moment of all-time.

I kind of think the WWE could have had Triple H just hand the WWE World Heavyweight Title to Seth Rollins (something worth selling out for), which could have pissed off Orton. Triple H could have told Randy that he knows he never got his one-on-one rematch, but he hopes Orton will play ball and realize they have a new Face of the WWE now. Cue RKO for Triple H.

Heel Rollins vs. Face Orton would actually be a really sick match. As a heel, Orton has been pulverized into the ground. He actually seems less credible than he is on paper. Orton as a former Authority guy could generate interest in him again. They also haven't done Face Orton vs. Heel Triple H since 2004. Orton could beat Triple H at Battleground and punt him in the head. He can go to the measures that Daniel Bryan, as an all-round nice guy, wouldn't go to.

If Bryan is legit unable to compete at MITB (which I don't believe, everything they do on TV sounds more kayfabe storyline to me), but if that's true, I like the idea of 2 guys taking each belt here. There is technically no official WWE World Heavyweight Champion and it sets up a triple threat with Bryan involved at Battleground. He gets the belt back with not having to work hard at Battleground and then he should be rested & set up perfectly for Summerslam. I don't like the idea of having a transitional champion for 3 weeks unless the transitional champion is Triple H.
