The team that inked the most areas win. - 4v4 online play. - GamePad keeps you updated with a full map view and real-time ink progress for both teams. - Travel across your team's ink in squid mode for faster movement. Also can be used for stealth as an alternative kind of crouching. - After respawn, launch right back to your last stand or join to a teammates side. |

That demo schedule shit was fucking terrible. Should have been the whole weekend. Anyway fun game.
- Not too crazy about being locked with using the GamePad. Much rather use the pro controller. What the second screen does now can be regulated to a respawn screen. This game does not need the GamePad. - 4plyr Splitscreen. This being Nintendo and looking at what kind of game this is makes lack of proper local multiplayer ridiculous. It's almost Auto-Fail, except... - This game is fun. Tons more strategic than meets the eye. - The roller will be nerfed either in movement, ammo expense, or both. It is very strong. - We did find that the SMGs have their use as well. - Paint the walls. People forget about the walls. - Sniper rifle was fucking useless. |

Paint the walls in terms of score or just for mobility? Doesn't actually do anything for overall score.
Agree on more hour sessions would have been good since it never hurts to have some extra testing especially for server stuff. The hour setup was good for the stress stuff. |

You sure walls don't count? I've won games where looking from the top down the other team looked dominant. I could be wrong but I feel like walls do factor.
If not then I guess mobility would be a good reason. |

What gun(s) you all using so far? I've found the most success just using a standard Splatershot. Even just the Jr one I like, because the Shield is a great special I find.
Tried out a few different charge ones to varying success. I don't generally like the camping/sniper kind of playstyle so not really my kinda thing. Love going against Rollers though, because they're so easy to kill. |

The matchmaking seems a bit off as well. But I am assuming that Ranked battles will fix that all right up. Last night I was in a lobby with a ton of people around my level (5-6 at the time), except there was one lvl 14 mixed in with us. Every game we played, probably about a dozen or so, the team with the lvl 14 on it pretty much dominated. Was very annoying. But again, once Ranked is unlocked I'm sure the matchmaking will be fine.

Don't think there is any real matchmaking going on right now and instead just finds whoever is the first around for matches.
Nintendo probably cares more about getting a lot of people playing right now than balance stuff at least until Ranked mode arrives. Would make no sense for that mode to not have matchmaking. |

Yeah that's my basic assumption as well. Not too fussed about it at this point.
Can usually hold my own pretty well against people who are fairly higher level. Had one lobby with a guy who was lvl 19 and using a Charger and sniping people off. Went like 8-1 for the first three games or so, then I spent the next few games just hunting him down and wrecked him a lot. V satisfying |

I've had a couple of disconnects, but on average it's had an excellent connect rate/matchmaking speed. Faster than CoD. I guess it gets away with it by going global and not caring too much about ping.

In my ~12 hours (estimate) over the weekend of playing I've had two straight up disconnects and about 2 or 3 matches where it had a bit of a hiccup but resolved itself. I've actually been quite impressed with the latency and server on my end

OH and to add to my gun thoughts.. I'm digging the Splattershot Pro the most out of the Splattershot options. Great range and damage, not as good for covering ground IMO but still effective, and Inkstrike is incredibly OP. Use it at end of the match to easily swing the percentage a few points in your favour. Loving it.

I've realized in ranked battles I'm a camper. If there's a spot near their respawn point or where they like to go to fire their guns, I'll chill out in my ink with my roller, and get them from behind. It's a bullshit move, but when it pays off it really pays off.

- Special Tuning: - Inkstrike: Some kind of change to the impact area... not sure if it's too big or too small, lmao.
