Adam Rose: Do you love him or hate him?
Greetings everyone! As the title suggests, do you hate or love Adam Rose. I have created this thread after the E:60 documentary for obvious reasons.

For most of his run on the main roster, I have been indifferent. Other than that I once posted if it would be a good idea to give him a long run with the Intercontinental title.

He was interesting in NXT when he was given something to do, but lost in the shuffle on Raw and stuck in nothing feuds..... He needs to revert back to Leo Kruger, maybe have a split-personality gimmick where one night he wrestles as Rose, the next as Kruger, not acknowledging the disorder.....

He's just kind of there really, doesn't tip the scales either way. He was way more interesting as Leo Kruger.

I think he has the charisma to do something more, but I could never get into the Adam Rose character. Nor Leo Kruger to be honest.

Felt like the party rock star gimmick could've gotten over had they not given up on him a few weeks in. Has catchy music, has a great entrance, easy catchphrase that involves the audience, decent look and in the ring. He was just never given anything to focus on character wise and now he's just there.

Of course after the E60 doc, being a father myself has pushed me to be a supporter of his. Feel like he came off really likeable. If they allow that emotion to flesh out, think he's got a chance.

I wish him the best as a person, but everything that has been presented to us character wise doesn't really do anything for me.

If they kept him as the party rocker but gave him a huge ego (i.e. have him demand 500 brown M&Ms before he even THINKS about setting foot in the ring) and have him be more of an asshole, I think I could get behind it. Have the Rosebuds be more like obsessed fans and have them get more involved in match outcomes and such. Seems easy enough to me.

He's great and the character would be fine if they knew how to use guys. Turning him heel and not changing the gimmick at all was just a ridiculous idea.

I enjoyed the Adam Rose gimmick and he's a solid worker. I think if they keep him heel, they should give him lackeys/ perminate rosebuds to help him cheat and win matches

I really enjoyed the Leo Kruger character... Watching that E:60 piece where they were all sitting around saying they didn't buy into him playing the "creepy/sadistic" guy I was like "WTF? Were they even watching?" because I thought he was great at it....

Loved him when he first got called up to the main roster but the gimmick lost its novelty very quickly and I now find myself not really caring one way or the other. If he could have actually played the gimmick as a real party guy and not a watered down children's party guy it might have gone further.

Anyway, yeah, Leo Kruger was better.

Adam Rose could have been good in the Attitude Era because they could have revealed all the illicit drugs and stuff that went on at his party... like all the people following him were just junkies who he kept on a string as they hoped to get their next fix from him....

Could have had Val Venis go to a party seduced by some chicks, and then Rose gets him addicted to the smack, and for awhile, Val Venis is a Rosebud.... until he turns and starts feuding with not only Adam Rose, but also his own drug addiction.

The special warmed me to him even though the gimmick he has wasn't used like it was on NXT. I hope the docu gives him a new push.

I've never been a huge fan of any of his incarnations. When he was "super proud South African" Leo Kruger, I thought he was kind of just there. A decent worker in trunks that loved his country and we were meant to boo because he talked a little funny and was a bit egotistical. Then the Leo Kruger people remember made him a bit more interesting. He lost in the NXT Title tournament, and that seemed to trigger something in Kruger, and made him more sadistic.

I feel like they changed the gimmick in part because The Shield was around. With a bit of patience though, Kruger could be on the main roster now after a decent NXT Title run, having hunted the big prize, and doing some hit work for Seth Rollins and The Authority and being genuinely creepy.

Adam Rose tickled me at first, but when he got called up? The gimmick lost all sense of fun and irony. He's just a goof that dances around. Clearly a good performer and a decent-to-good worker, but he's just never fired on all cylinders to me. It's time for a change, but what?

I either want to see Rose take the gimmick to that appropriate heel level. He needs a few permanently obsessed groupies that represent the darker side of idol worship. Give him a Diva, a tag team, and a whipping boy. Either that or have the Leo Kruger personality begin to re-emerge, without using it by name. Have him appear on the tron after Rose's matches and taunt him. "Do you remember what you're running from, Adam? Do you remember that you party because you can never sleep? Its too late to save the character.

The only way for him to make money is cash in off the E60 and hope him as a good underdog works.

Keep him as a heel and slowly turn.

Put him in a match with Cena for the US title that he has a great showing in shocking cena. Mention the E60 and how huge a win would be for him.

Next week give him match with Orton that he nearly pulls out a win on. Show his frustration with coming so close and still losing clean.

Next Week.....Bray Wyatt. The fans will be behind him to beat Wyatt.

Now hes had strong showings against 3 tops stars. All losses but the fans will be getting behind him.

Have HHH show up and make mention of the ESPN article and how everyone is rooting for Adam Rose...But he just doesnt have it. they gave him a chance and all that good stuff, and hes a great guy and a great father, but thats not good for business. "We cant keep paying you when you just arent up to snuff". Let HHH go full heel as the head of NXT.

Book him in a last chance match against Kane with JnJ. Or even Harper or Rowan with the other ringside.

Let him work face in the match to save his career and family. let there be interference that he finally overcomes. Ref bump and haper knocks our rowan and rose gets the pin. Fans rejoice and now you have an over face Rose playing the underdog. Where he goes from there, who knows. Maybe long term it doesnt work. But that is some good TV for a few weeks.

Just simple old school face turn.
