Very interesting to hear about how The Rock was booked. A lot of things done to him that would sink guys today.

Or have people complaining that he's not protected or pushed properly and not getting over the hump to see him as a top guy. It's amazing how effortless it was with Rock, and you can see why they blame other guys now for not being as good as Rock at getting so over with relatively little help. I think it'll really stand out as he do 99 and 2000 the differences between the Rock heel push and HHH heel push just how much harder the company had to work.

That's a very good point. I found it harrowing that The Rock/Benoit did no worse than The Rock/Triple H, because Rock/Triple H just feels like a bigger match, but that is WWE illusion. Considering that Triple H and Stephanie had the Kurt Angle storyline changed too and that things went downhill from there, I think they have a lot to actually account for when it comes to damage done to wrestling.
