Season 2 was good. It had Rick Springfield looking weird as shit in it too.
I'm not sure handing a lead role to an unknown actor is a great idea though…yes he has an Oscar but who actually saw Moonlight and what has he done besides that?
Hopefully they have a marquee name to stick alongside him, whoever he is.

He was also the villain 'Cottonmouth' in Luke Cage on Netflix. He seems like a good actor. I bet they have a big name or two join the show as well.

As long as they have a strong cast and stronger storyline, the atmosphere and performances will take care of themselves.
