Darwin Henderson does not have that much rep yet (10+)
Could you ever see...

...any independant feds getting proper TV contracts and competing.

I dont mean TV that they pay for or on a regional network at 2 in the morning, I mean prime time on a national network.

Which companies do you think get would get a TV deal first?

Id say MLW, followed by TNA.

Neither. Network TV certainly aren't going to give any wrestling company a spot right now at any time, nevermind prime time. They will struggle to get anything on cable too.

Until wrestling picks up again,no one is getting a serious national or
international TV deal.

As far as MLW goes, they are lucky if they are having a show. Those
stupid ****s got bounced out of FL,bounced out of NJ,bounced out
of PA,and are now coming back to do a show in FL on 1/10 that may
not even happen.

They're advertising Corino-Funk in a barbed-wire match as the main
event.Corino is already booked for an NWA-FL event on 1/10,and he
is not working with MLW.In addition, the venue WILL NOT allow ANY
barbed wire matches there.Furthermore, they just booked the building
recently, and that place requires a permit that takes at least 4 weeks
to get,or the cops will cancel the show; I doubt they have the permit.

ALSO,they always claim over 600+,etc... That place holds under 500,
and if they exceed that the firemarshalls (who will be there if this so-
called event takes place) will either: A) turn people away or B) cancel
the event totally.

If they didn't try to **** every other promotion over, and if they took
any time to learn anything they wouldn't have so many problems.

The only way a group will get TV is if they have some major financial backing and they have some superstars that TV execs recognize like Austin, Rock, Hogan or Goldberg. Without at least two of those guys I cant see any wrestling company getting TV, or I should say good TV.

Austin and Rock will never go anywhere, Hogan always winds up back with Vince everytime he threatens to do something else. Goldberg is the wild card, he has no loyalities to Vince, and he hasn't been treated all that well by the WWE, so I could see him as the focal point of a new group. But again, they would need major financial backing in order to get their foot in the door.

Hard to really top what's already been said, so I'll just bottomline my opinions. If the WWE was drawing REALLY big numbers right now, there'd prolly be an interest in cashing in on the wrestling phenomenon. If that happened, I could see a smaller, indy fed getting a major TV spot (Though maybe not prime time). In the current market...Fuck no.

A fed could have all the TV time in the world, but that wouldn't make it "successful".
