Hardly, nothing can top the Horseman. Plus the final incarnation of the NWO (well actually the last 3 versions) sealed their fate as being a step below DX.

Good list though, even though the Kliq was never an actual on air stable. I'm quite pleased with the Dangerous Alliance being mentioned.

Damned if I would have put that much effort into it. I had a hard enough time with the top 100 moments in wrestling we had a while back.

You sound like a 12 year old.

You can't get any better than the first dominant heel stable in wrestling. The Horsemen carried the NWA/WCW, were huge draws, and inspired most of the heel stables that have come since then.

The Heenan Family should've been higher, but overall it's a good list.

I didn't really watch the Hoursemen so I don't know much about them.

The NWO was the most succesful group of all time. Merchandise, the ratings were huge, Common almost every wrestling fan has an NWO shirt. It was the group that made wrestling popular. Same goes for DX.

And I'm talking about the NWO in their prime, not the watered down WWF version please

If I did a list of my favorite stables the list would look a lot diffrent... I just made the list of the best, that being said on my "favorites" list the Heenan Family would have been higher, The Brain was so awesome as a manager, most people forget that because of how good of a commentator he bacame.

Some of the ones that sound like tag teams like Demolition or Kaintai had, at one time, three members that's why I made them stables... that and if I didn't add tag team type stables I wouldn't have gotten to 100.

That comment about "the group that made wrestling popular" shows your age. Like I said, the Horsemen were more than just a little popular. As a matter of fact, at the height of Hulkamania, when mainstream fans thought the WWF was wrestling, the Four Horsemen carried the NWA, and their drawing power alone probably kept that company profitable until Turner bought it out. And hardcore fans of the era truly appreciated them; all you had to do was look at who was on the cover of all the Apter mags to see who 'smarts' of the day appreciated.

And all the standard issue heel stable tactics (gang attacks, 'Dusty' finishes, group promos) were all invented or perfected by the Four Horsemen.

The original nWo were great and did big business. But basically, they lived off the heat created by Hogan's turn. Horsemen weren't gimmicks; they were three of the best heels in the company, one of the best managers in the business, all anchored by arguably the best worker of all time.

That list is kinda weak though...I mean the Magnificent 7 and the Dugeon of Doom is ahead of Evolution?

Oh and The Legion of Doom in the mid 80's consisted of The Road Warriors, Ellering, Rick Rude, Jake Roberts, and Manny Fernandez.

I personally thought the Mean Street Posse made The Corporation really quite brilliant, and kinda made you think of Shane McMahon as a legit guy, (back before he had ever done anything suicidal) Mean Street Posse were great because they were the first heel joke stable that actually had real intresting storylines, I gave them the nod over Evolution, because Evolution isn't really "orignal" it's basically The Four Horsemen, and if all stables borrow something from the Horsemen, Evolution borrows the most, I just thought that the MSP was more orignal and just better.

Too each there own man... I mainly watched NWA/WCW in the 80's I just wathed WWF in passing until like 1989.

Like I said everyone is going to have there opinions on the subject, your points are well said I just think the fact that Evolution is a Horsemen rip off hurts them.

I never really saw the 4 Horseman so I cannot really judge them.

I would have had either the nWo (Hogan, Nash and Hall) or DX as the number 1 stable of all time.

Best nWo stable imo = hogan hall nash giant, 3 man stable just seemed kinda odd.

Pretty good list you have there.

Definitely liking the order of the Four Horsemen stables.

I'd rank the Corporate Ministry a little higher and 3 Minute Warning a little lower, but overall pretty good.

I always thought of the Two Man Power trip as a tag team alliance, rather then a stable... I suppose they had Stephnie with them so it could count, but even with that they wouldn't have ranked much higher the 80 or so.

I was just kidding... they are a stable in ROH that consist of Ravers hence the drug reference name for the stable. They don't deserve to be on the list. Infact with the exception of maybe the SAT's no independant stable should have been considered really.
