Vince saying "Good Shit"
I never really got why this is funny to everyone and has become a meme, I hear people say this all the time. Is this a phrase not common outside of the north east that people haven't heard before until that news story came out about Vince saying it?

You gotta do it in Vince's voice while referring to something ridiculous.
That's why it's a thing |

What's funny isn't tbe phrase itself, but rather what Vince believes to be "such good shit".

Vince will leave a will with such strict guidelines to follow, and if they are violated then the whole company is just shut down and all his assets given towards research on how to bring himself back as a robot.

Stephanie is going to take over, so it's going to be the same product.

The rumors of Vince selling WWE once he's decided he's done with wrestling is just as likely to happen based on the way things seem to be heading ever since they hired Nick Khan as their company President. |

That said, the buyout deal will probably have 5 year contracts for the McMahon Family, stock in NBC, and executive producers of the actual shows. After that, who knows. Vince would be 85 by 2031, Triple H And Shane would be 61, and Steph would be 54. Or maybe his grandkids start getting into the business as well. |

To answer the question, it had been mentioned quite a few times before in history, but kinda glossed over in storytelling. Then the Ambrose interview happened right after he left where he mentioned Vince specifically wanting him to talk about a "pooper scooper", and doing the impression of Vince saying "That's good shit!" while trying to talk Mox into his vision.
Something about that resonated with people and pointed out exactly how much of a Vince-isim that phase is. Then, it's applied to just about everything wrong with WWE TV, because in the end, EVERY THING THAT AIRS HAS TO BE CLEARED THROUGH HIM, so no matter how bad what ever match concept, backstage skit, frantic camerawork, or committee scripted promo is, you just need to imagine Vinnie Mac grinning and exclaiming the phrase. |
