Video games is something i enjoy ive owned all three of the big systems.(x-box, nintendo, ps2) I no longer own the x-box didnt keep my attention. What system are you doing? If the columns are opininated you should have two people working on it.

What makes your site unique?
What will make it stand out from the crowd, be better than just another site ran by someone from their home?
What will make people visit your site rather than the IGN's and the Gamespot's?

Information is easy to get from all of the internet now, and I just feel the need to ask this, before you go ahead and do it, and it turn out to be a total flop.
I'm not asking this because I don't want you to do it, hell, if you're serious, then for all means go for it, but I need to ask this because I don't want you to become disappointed.

That and I'm a nosy bastard...
