Tragically hip.

This is gonna be really weird.

I just heard 'em for like the first time, and I'm looking for some other records of interest by them. However, the album I heard hasn't been released yet. My father received an unsolicited advanced copy of the record (Probably because it's rounder/Zöe, and he has dealings with them), and passed it along to me. There are some really solid tracks, but I have dick for a frame of reference, because I don't really know any of their other stuff (I think I may have heard a couple of tracks of theirs, but I don't remember).

What are some good records to "cut my teeth" on?

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

probably the greatest canadian band ever. anyways my favorites are probably "fully completely", "up to here", and "road apples". quite honestly though i'm not as familliar with their latter stuff unfortunatley other than the odd song.

In Violet Light is their other recent album, the one released last year, and it is good. I like it quite a bit...and Road Apples is probably another good ablbum as is Music @ Work.
