I was never really a fan of any of the WCW tunes mainly because they were remakes of other songs

Jeff Jarrett: Kid Rock
Raven: Nirvana
DDP: Nirvana
Sting: Metallica
Hogan: Jimmy Hendrix

Ok i know the last 2 wern't covers, but they still wern't originals

I did like Disco's theme however, that really suited the gimmick. But you have to admit that alot of the WCW created music lacked production, but it always did from the early days.

I can't really comment on ECW as the only originals they did that i'm aware of were the Taz tune and the Sabu tune, and the Taz tune was a Kiss rip off.

WWF/E Is where it's at as far as music goes.

Austin and The Rock are instanly 2 of the most recognisable tunes in the history of the business. Although I will conceed that the NWO tune also belongs on that list.

I liked the rip offs personally, original no, but DDP never felt right without Self High Five.

Absolutely, without a doubt, the best theme ever written for any wrestler...

Ravishing Rick Rude. His 1st one, before the "He's Simply Ravishing" one. I still listen to that theme at least once a day. He'd come out with Bobby Heenan, stick that big chin of his out, do that little smirk & people would just go crazy booing him. I can't imagine Rude without his "Stripper Music" lol "Now keep quiet while I take my robe off, & show the world why the odds are in MY... FAVORITE!"

Jake Robert's "Trust Me" music was great too.

* Kane's original with the organ
* Probably about every theme from the ATTITUDE era
* Many many many more.

Underrated and also my favorites:

Dan Severn's WWF theme
Austin's "slowed down" heel theme only used for a brief period (you can still hear it in SmackDown! Just Bring It for PS2)
Rocky Maivia's theme (kinda sounded like later Rock themes in a way)
Jeff Jarrett's "The Chosen One" (a hell of a lot better than that crap he has in NWA-TNA)
Christian's theme from WWF The Music Vol. 4
Chris Benoit's original WWF theme (It was the perfect theme for Benoit, and Edge and Christian's send up of the song made it official)
Lance Storm's WCW theme
Billy Kidman's WCW theme (he had for like 2 days in WWE before they changed it to a major piece of crap)
Hardcore Holly's current theme (without the "How Do You Like Me Now?" soundbite)
Undertaker's "You're Gonna Pay" (with NO vocals; the vocals ruined it)
Reverend D-Von's theme (sounds authentic, hearing it makes me wish that gimmick lasted)
Hollywood Rock's theme (sounds at its best in Smackdown! Here Comes The Pain)
Bret Hart's "Hitman" theme (with that ripping guitar at the beginning)
any Diamond Dallas Page theme (It's me, it's me...it's D-D-P... I like how the WWE one had that "BANG!!" at the beginning)

I always feel that the Los Boriquas Theme was pretty underrated.

This is an interesting thread and all, but who exactly sits around and rates theme songs? How exactly do you mean underrated? Underrated by whom?

Underrated:

-D'Lo Brown's music (the one he had right after The Nation split up). "I think you better recognize".

-The Nation's theme (their last entrance music).

-The Rock's "Nation" theme music.

-The Rock's "Corporate" theme.

-Steve Austin's 'alliance' theme.

Favorite themes:

1) The Rock's "Hollywood" heel music.

2) The Rock's Corporate Music

3) Undertaker's current (and oldschool) music.

4) Degeneration X (the original......not Run DMC's version or the re-mix. WM-14's 'live' DX music performed by Rage Against The Machine was my favorite of all-time).

5) Evolution's theme
5t) Austin's alliance music.

Currently, my favorite is Kane's, and I'm not entirely sure why. I really liked his old lyricless theme, and when Finger Eleven did the remake, I was really wary. It sounds good, though, and the singer sounds like I'd imagine the Kane character "feels."

V-1's theme is cool, but I like Monster Magnet a lot, so I'm biased.

All-time, though, it doesn't get much better than Christian's operatic "At Last" theme from a couple of years ago. That was just brilliant with a capital "brilli."
