Theres too many SD5 threads, so i'll start a new thread.

Basically, what do you guys want in Smackdown 6?

1. The "Smackdown in Iraq" arena.

2. Remember in No Mercy how you could move on the apron, and do moves from the apron into the ring or out to the mat? They should throw that in there.

3. A more realistic attribute system. It sucks when I spend 10 minutes whooping HHH with HBK, only for him to hit 5 moves and a pedigree and pin me before I'm even in the red. Also when RVD can't suplex a guy like Batista.

4. Ability to COMPLETELY edit the superstars. Looks and all. Too much change before the games come out.

5. DEFEND THE GOD DAMN BELTS IN EXHIBITION MODE!!! How long have the fans been begging for that?

6. The ability to give your CAW any amount of attributes without having to earn them.

And 7. The ability to play online so I can kick all of your asses!

May I ask what the big deal is about defending the titles on exhibition mode. I'm starting to like the storylines and shit around the titles

Cause I hate running a season, and then when I play in Exhibition having Stone Cold come out with the Hardcore Title. Some people like to keep Titles up to date with TV, this makes it easier... also if they put in a Create a PPV mode it would be nice to have.

Create a Belt for Exhibition with its own champions, so it doesn't mess with Season. It could have all the current belts +Euro, Hardcore, WWF Attitude, WWF Old School, the WCW and ECW belts.
Create a PPV
More realistic weight system. I'm pretty sure HBK could lift Kevin Nash.
Being able to choose a CAWs Superstar points, so that (insert ancient main eventer that the WWE next sign here) will be in main events in season.

one I would like other than defend titles in Exibition, more Realistic Weight System, obviously Network play, Iraq arena, and edit real star attires is that the fix Kanes Chokeslam, Nashs Jacknife Powerbomb, add Hulk Hogan(real) and Ultimate Warrior(though I made them in HTCP with the entrance the game gave them before they where taken out)(cb code to unlock Hulk Hogan, Hulk Hogan(Legend), and Ultimate Warrior, gave there NULL entrances to my CAWs except legend Hogan because where I got the code is that only legend Hogans entrance of the 3 freezes the game), back to my SD6 wishlist, they make the Blood drip off the guys face and stain the mat, and one im sure everyone you will want, BE ABLE TO STOMP UP THE FREAKING SUBMISSIONS

I agree with most everything that's been said, but here's what I'd add to the list:

1) More realistic blood effects.

I mean staining the canvas, leaving marks on weapons, etc.

2) More weapons.

Because, really, how often are sledgehammers used in a hardcore match between Rob Van Dam and Tommy Dreamer? Of course, that begs the question "How often are there hardcore matches between Rob Van Dam and Dreamer," so...uh...moving on.

3) Customizable entrances.

I hate hate HATE the "Original" entrances for HCTP (with a couple of exceptions), and would like to be able to customize them like I can taunts. Obviously, there wouldn't be a whole lot of detail I can go into, but I would like to be able to have someone taunt on their way to the ring without having to do an established WWE superstar's taunts.

4) Replace Bra & Panties matches with more variations on ladder and TLC matches.

Why can I still not re-create the Hardy Boyz/Dudley Boyz/Edge & Christian matches in a SmackDown game?

5) A season mode that doesn't REQUIRE you to be the center of attention.

What if I want to play as a mid-carder and challenge for the IC or US belt? Don't make me feud with Vince!

6) Tommy Dreamer!

He's been with the company for two years (three by the time SD6 comes out), and hasn't been in a SD game yet. So disappointing...

7) Just for fun...

1) It also wouldn't hurt if it didn't look like a really bad overblading job.

2) And signature weapons. So RVD's more likely to pull out a chair...Like No Mercy allowed you to do.

3) It's a shame that Wrestlemania XIX lets you do this, but doesn't give you a season mode...

4) Yes. This was a stupid feature wasting space where other matches coulda made it in.

5) and since you can't get a title shot in the middle of a storyline, that kinda blows.

6) Dreamer would be awesome. LARGER ROSTER DAMMIT!

I think he meant stomp out of submissions, like when you're in a tag team match, your partner can make the save when your in a submission, or vice versa

Some that other people havn't meantioned

-More realistic interference and ref system. Having guys run in and pretty much joining the match is dumb. Make them come down, get in a quick chair shot, break up a pin or somthing, and leave. Also being able to attack refs without getting DQed is dumb.

-The ability to fight in the crowd

-Create a GM. Being able to make a GM a face or a heel, and give them other personality attributes so that they run the show diffrently would be cool. Also being able to change who the GM is would be nice.

-CASKET MATCHES, item on a pole matches, inferno matches, blindfold matches (grapples and punches could be a lot less accurate), buried alive matches

-Give the legends music. The WWE owns the rights to the music for the legends in HCTP, they should make room for it in the game. Maybe putting some old WCW legends in the game could work too. When Vince bought WCW, did he also buy the rights to Sting? That would be cool.

-Much better movement animations. Wrestlers walking in the game needs a lot of work, as does getting up. Clipping is a problem also. Some body and facial textures could be imporved too.

-Fix up the glitches in the season mode. Triple H vs. Triple H is no good.

-The ability to stack multiple tables on top of each other. Also, the whole moveable table system needs a lot of work.

-More counter animations.

-If they could acually make it GOOD this time, put in commentary. I don't understand how games like Madden NFL 2004 can have absolutly great commentary where you will barely hear two quotes said twice for a whole game, and they say the names of hundreds of players, and they can't get good commentary in a Smackdown game.

OK, i'll chuck im hat i want in sd6, since i started this thread.

1) both sets of commentators commentating

2) create a belt

3) more special weapon moves with more weapons, otherwise they should just call it 'special chair' instead of 'special weapon'. They should be able to hit special weapon moves from the same positions as the normal finishers.
eg, Van Terminator - opponent lying in lower turnbuckle, or even 3D thru a table where your partner has initiated a grapple and you have the table. OR EVEN jeff hardy's ladder leg drop

4) bigger rosters (I WANT TOMMY DREAMER TOO)

5) more people alowed in the rumble at 1 time

6) actual time intervals for the rumble and the chamber

7) more divas

I also want the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber to take the real time, I mean, even in season when we had to fight in the Chamber Vince said "Every 5 minutes a random superstar will be released from their Chamber." to make Royal Rumble more realistic, it will about 8+ guys with strength of 10 to get A-Train over the rope, 10 for Kane and Undertaker, 9 for Brock Lesnar and over 10 for Big Show since hes to heavy for every one to put over the top.

um, I don't want to type out a huge post so I'd jsut make this short

1. royal rumble >> grapple system to eliminate opponents, ie. escape submission style.

2. if a person has high power skills, they will do power moves at full damage... while superstars with high speed skills, do speed moves at full damage...

2b. you can lift different weight class if you have a high enough power skill... 5 and below, lightweights and heavy-lightweights, 8 and below heavyweights 9 and above super heavy weights...

3. choice to change enterance times in rumble, elim. chamber etc.

4. a smoother chant/crowd reaction effect.

5. more types of reversals ie. sleeper into two elbows and an irish whip... this should really be for finishers to. like falling down the back of lesnars F-5 and pushing stone cold away on all of his stunners... you know what i mean.

6. ways to use weapons more creatively... ie. ladder on baracade whipping opponent onto the ladder.

8. USING THE ACTUAL THEMES (I.E. Victoria ).
9. Playing FEMALES in Season Mode.
10. Defending ALL titles in Exhibition.
11. Create-A-Title.
12. Create-A-Pay-Per-View.
13. Lists title history and each worker's win/loss record.
14. No more stupid nicknames (The JBI and SYM announce name crap..).
15. The option to not have a roster split.
16. The option to edit the roster split.
17. Bigger stables.
18. More options for tag/stables moves.
19. More realistic Face/Heel system.
20. Gimmick system can be assigned.
21. May have to work your way to the top and not always make it.
22. Actual injuries.
23. Online play.
24. Better feuds.
25. Using real time.
26. Easier Create-A-Animation feature.
27. Possible Create-A-Move feature.
28. Easier counters.
29. Edit set SuperStar's appearences.
30. Crowd that reacts differently (much like in WarZone).

And yeah, the reversals are boring. There's like 4, for the standard moves, and like, another for for the rest of the moveset.

I'm not saying they should put in multiple unique counters to each move, or anything, just more types of counters, because it gets boring and predictable.

Have stats mean a little more. There really doesn't seem to be a huge difference in speed rating...Submissions don't really seem to be too terribly affected by the submission stat (Unless you're a ten and they're a two or vice versa). Strength is the only one with a real noticable difference.

Have other factors affect damage, too.

There are only a few things in this thread I DISagree with...

I DON'T want title matches to be possible in Exhibition. Human controlled players could easily just have exhibition matches with each other and **** up your whole season. As for the guy that doesn't think they should enter with the belts in exhibition, THAT I DO agree with.

I don't think that the whole "if your power is 10 and you do a finisher even at the beginning of the match you win" suggested by Slicer is a good idea. This is a video game, not real life, and those quick matches are no fun, win OR lose, which is a main reason I never picked up on the first UFC game I tried out.

Also, there was one more...oh yes, again, a Slicer suggestion...the whole "you must use x wrestlers to put certain guys over the top". In real life, Shawn Michaels by HIMSELF once eliminated BOTH Yokozuna AND Vader, so I think that says all that needs to be said about that.

Yeah, having injuries in the game would be nice.

Say you have Evolution attack you with weapons as Raw goes off air, maybe you will have to be out of action for a few weeks. Or maybe if it is the Raw before you have to defend you're title on a PPV, you should wrestle the match with taped up ribs, and start with a red mid section. Injuires should also have a bearing on what moves you can and cannot do. Say Goldbeg has hurt legs, maybe he would have more trouble getting The Big Show up for the Jackhammer, or maybe he won't be able to do it at all.

Also, I don't like it that the lightweights are able to slam the super heavyweights if it is their finisher. I don't like the fact that my 200 lb. CAW is able to jackhammer TBS when on Smackdown.

Also, if they included Heat and Velocity in the season mode, that would really kick ass to be able to wrestle on there if you are not a main eventer. Having house shows too would be nice. Similar to the calander they had in WWF Attitude.

That is a really bad idea for a video game.

It reminds me of the original Bushido Blade. Infinitely frustrating, because one lucky hit could kill you. VERY realistic as far as the liklihood of death in sword play, very not fun.

Squash matches usually aren't even fun to WATCH, let alone play.

They could include an arcade mode, and a sim mode in the game, just like they have in many other sports games. With this, the people that like realistic, quicker matches could play the sim mode, and the people that think that is boring could do the arcade mode.

Especially when you're low on the Superstar Points deal. You know, not top of the food chain, you're on Velocity. Get bigger, better, more popular? Evolve to Smackdown. You could even have story angles that involved or resulted in getting promoted to the big shows, or demoted to the weekend shows

I played a bit of a season as Shelton Benjamin (don't ask why). I removed Charlie Haas because I wanted to not be doing tag matches every week, and more often than not, I was left off the shows altogether! If there was Velocity in season mode, I would have at least been doing something...

I know what you mean. If you're not main eventing or in a major plot angle, you don't get to wrestle a lot of the time. It's stupid. You shouldn't have to be against the champion every week, or forming a faction to get on the card. 'Bout the only way to guarantee a match is to request a title shot.

Another couple slots on the big cards'd be nice, as well as the weekend shows as an option for us underacheivers.

I couldn't even get that, 'cause Shelton's Superstar Rating was so low. So, not only couldn't I challenge for a title because my rating was so low, I couldn't raise my rating, because I couldn't get a match! Stupid HHH even holding talent back in videogame form...
