Personal experiences with wrestlers?
Ok, I feel like starting an interesting conversation so here goes:
Who all here has met wrestlers, & what were they like? Which ones were cool guys? Which ones were complete bitches? The public wants to know! lol First off, my personal experiences: King Kong Bundy: I met him because he came to my high school once for an assembly about staying off drugs or something. He seemed like he was a decent guy, & also a complete goofball lol. He even stuck around for a while answering questions from ppl & just hanging around. I even got to ask one myself: "Whenever you & Don Muraco attacked Hulk Hogan on SNME, what was the atmosphere in the building like? I always wondered about that, It seemed like the crowd was really going crazy." He said something like, "You know what man, People always ask me about Wrestlemania 2 but I don't hear about what lead up to it that much. The atmosphere was electric that night, the crowd was ready to tear me up, & that made me feel good 'cause it let me know I did a good job. I think one of the reasons that worked so well was we had such a great announcing team, I think the WWF had the best announcers in wrestling." So all in all, King Kong Bundy = Stand-Up Guy ![]() On the other hand, some WCW wrestlers stopped in the town next to mine at a diner for lunch a couple years back. It was Randy Savage, DDP, The Giant, & Lex Luger. There was a little article about it in the newspaper about it with some pictures, but I noticed that there weren't any pics of Luger, it just said he was "In Attendance" ![]() ![]() BTW The newspaper misspelled Luger's name in the article, "Lex Lugar". ![]() Last edited by My Final Heaven; 07-13-2004 at 01:32 PM. |
