OpusCroakus1 does not have that much rep yet (10+)
When I think of Summer Slam, I think of 1992. London, England. Wembly Stadium. The main event, for the Intercontinental Championship, Bret "Hitman" Hart defending against the British Bulldog.... What a great match that was!

1 - Bret Hart vs. Mr Perfect
2 - TLC
3 - Bret Hart vs. British Bulldog
4 - Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle
5 - Rey Misterio vs. Kurt Angle
6 - Bret Hart vs. Undertaker
7 - Chris Benoit vs. RVD
8 - Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon
9 - Shawn Michaels vs. Triple-H
10 - Hart Foundation vs. Demolition or Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart Tied

Bret Hart vs. Taker was awesome too. And Marty Jannetty vs. Powers of Pain has to be the best individual performance I have ever seen.

Summerslam is one of my favorite PPVs, because it seems like every year, there is at least one 3-plus-star match.

It's hard for me to pick matches from the last few years, because I haven't watched those as many times as I have the first few. So, I guess, up through 1995, here's my top ten.

1) Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart - 1994
2) Bret Hart vs. British Bulldog - 1992
3) Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon - 1995
4) Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect - 1991
5) Randy Savage vs. Ultimate Warrior - 1992
6) Hart Foundation vs. Brainbusters - 1989
7) Hart Foundation vs. Demolition - 1990
8) Steiner Brothers vs. Heavenly Bodies - 1993
9) British Bulldogs vs. Fabulous Rougeau Brothers - 1988
10) Razor Ramon vs. Diesel - 1994

So, let it not be said that I don't like Bret Hart.

The whiny little bitch...

Indeed, it's what I usually think of, as it was the second PPV I ever saw (the first being Royal Rumble 93 - only had tapes, and only really got them as presents when I was young then)

I've only ever seen a few Summerslams in full, and I have my two favorites on DVD: 2000 and 2002.

The Bodies ruled. And so did the Steiners, at the time. Jim Cornette remains the man. That match just worked on so many levels.
