Question money?

i have just been reading the thread on brock and a lot of it seems to be about money.
how much money does a wrestler make in a year?
i know it depends on his card status so lets take it on the three levels: -

low card ?
mid card?
main eventers ?

anyone know???

Wait, how is Mark Henry even a mid carder, and how the fuck does Big Show earn that much?

He signed a ten-year contract back around 96 or whenever, when Vince thought he was going to be a permanent main eventer.

Yeah it's a little outdated as far as the wrestlers mentioned goes, but it still gives you an idea of about how much they make at different levels of the card.

Those figures are out of whack. You have to remember when those numbers were reported there was still a WCW around, and Vince had to pay guys a lot more. Now, the guys have no other options, so he can low ball them all. I would guess the only guys making a million dollar guarantee would be Trips, obviously, probably Taker and maybe Angle. That would be it. But with bonuses and everything they can make a lot more.

Cool, thanks. I've always wondered that myself, and people who don't watch wrestling sometimes ask me what different people get paid and I'm always like..."uh...well...I don't know"

How did Ken Shamrock get that much? Yeah he was good, but never a world champ.

Oh I got a question too. Do world champions actually make a lot of money (like a bonus or something) or is that just a line they use to make it look like everybody wants to be the champ?

I keep reading that they get bonuses for appearing on Wrestlemaina PPVs, but I've wondered is that for every PPV or just Manias?

There were alot of "WTF?" things in WCW that you find out about.

Like, did you know that "WCW WorldWide" actually exsisted and didn't always suck.

I remember staying up late and the local ABC affiliate had WCW WorldWide on at like 3 in the morning. It usually sucked, but they usually had one good cruiser match.
