Clint was/is the man in that part and there's no logical reason to re-do it. Clint wasn't ever a big muscluar action star, but if the Rock is gonna do it they will just turn it into a bunch of crap with explosions

I do think that The Rock will make a good Dirty Harry though....not as good as Clint (Clint being the fuckin man as Dirty Harry), but i think he will do a good job.

Only one word describes what I think of Rock being Harry.....NO.

How the hell could they do this. There was alredy word of The Rock replacing Arnold for a new Conan movie and for a new Terminator movie. And basically you cant replace Arnold for Terminator with out having it bomb.

They are making so many remakes because nobody is writing any good shit. And when good shit comes around, it is indie stuff that never gets mainstream attention.

Everybody wants to see explosions or whatever, so that's what we get. :-/

i can't even think of anyone who'd make a good dirty harry, nevermind the rock. dirty harry was just an average looking guy with a mean streak not some pumped up, musclebound action hero.
