What Match do u think is underated or don't get a lot of credit?

What match do you love that nobody really talks about or overlooks? for me I loved the Steamboat/Douglas vs Hollywood Blondes matches in WCW I wished they had put one as a extra on the SC truth DVD.

Any Val Venis match.

Looking back on them (just watched the DVD), Regal/Y2J at WMX7 and Raven/Big Show/Kane from the same event made me respect the guys even more.

Agreed. Whenever he hits the Money Shot in a match I get all excited because it usually means he's not jobbing.

Anyways, this was an awesome match, with Steve as the heel. They kept flipping and reversing and exchanging sharpshooters, it was a great mark out moment that nobody seems to remember.

I actually liked the first Benoit/Austin match, right after Austin's return in late 2000. Earlier in the night, Benoit was basically saying that Austin was an inferior worker, and only brawled because he couldn't wrestle. So for most of the match, Austin out-wrestled Benoit again and again, and Benoit ended up resorting to punch-kick tactics instead.

Not exactly a classic, and Benoit did kind of look like a chump in it, but it told the story well, and Austin got to showcase his technical moveset that he hadn't used in a long while.

Austin and Benoit had two classic matches on back to back shows. It's too bad Benoit didn't get at least one victory out of it but oh well. Incidently I have both matches. Plus the one you're talking about Nowhere Man, and actually another one from SD in 02. Benoit really brought the best out Austin in his later days.

Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle in a steel cage on Raw. That match was great, IMO.

Chavo vs. Mysterio for the CW belt at Judgment Day. Probably the best match of that night.

Scott Hall vs Chris Benoit during the world title tournament in WCW (It was the tournament where Bret Hart ended up beating Benoit in the finals at WCW Mayhem.) Incredible match, the only thing that tainted it was a run-in at the end by Sid. Scott Hall is one guy who I think is really underrated. He's had tons of personal problems, but the man has, & still can, put on phenomenal matches if he applies himself.

Austin/Angle Summerslam 01. Pretty kick ass match.

Angle/Benoit WMX7

Angle/Benoit Ultimate Submission Match Backlash 01. Not sure of the event because I haven't seen it in a long time but it was good stuff.

The Scotty/Malenko match.

The final of the Smackdown Tag Team Tournament that Stephanie set up.

Rey/Edge vs Angle/Benoit

I often look back on this match and wonder why matches like it don't take place every week.

RVD V Eddie Guererro Backlash 2002
Road Dogg V Shamrock V Val Venis V Goldust WMXV
HHH V Jeff Jarrett Capital Carnage 98
Rey Mysterio V Tajiri (numerous times on SD) but the 1st match was good

Yeah I know there are better ones like Dorkchop said, but these are the ones that spring to mind (probably because i have these events on VHS)

Anyways, this was an awesome match, with Steve as the heel. They kept flipping and reversing and exchanging sharpshooters, it was a great mark out moment that nobody seems to remember.

not to mention Benoit's 10 Germans on Austin

Cruiserweight 3:16 does not have that much rep yet (10+)
Wasn't the match involving the 10 German suplexes won by Benoit??? I could've sworn that Benoit won that match by pinfall as it was a non-title match, but the match that they had on Raw that week was won by Austin a-la screwjob replay as it was for the title

Austin v Angle on Smackdown in January 2002 ( the week where HHH made his comeback) is a match that seems to be forgotten about. That match was really good, was so much better than the Vengeance match they had, and is my favourite between them.

I'm pretty sure it was the Smackdown match that Austin won. But he made Benoit look like $$$ because as I recall it was in Edmonton (Benoit's hometown)

I'm pretty sure that Austin jobbed in that match because it was a non-title match and there was no way Austin was booked to beat him twice that week.
I think you're right though about it being in Edmonton... so if a wrestler is booked in their hometown then usually they are booked to win.

Chavo vs. Mysterio for the CW belt at Judgment Day. Probably the best match of that night.

Cena v. Rene Dupree lumberjack match on Smackdown was pretty cool too.

Whats really funny is i don't remember Rey/Chavo at all at a Judgement Day.I think you have your PPV's mixed up.

Austin won via cheap pinfall but Benoit looked awesome.

It may have been at Great American Bash. I mix those PPV's up because they were both pretty poor.
