Bret Hart Storyline (Orton Title Win in Jeopardy)

Credit: Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Apparently, Bret Hart is very close to coming back to the WWE to partake in a future WWE storyline with Ric Flair and Evolution. The plan is for Bret to come back at Survivor Series and attack Flair on the show. This would later lead to Ric and Bret having a match at Mania 21. Also, there are rumors that Evolution will likely get involved in some capacity in one way or another. If Evolution does get involved, look for Bret Hart to from some sort of stable of his own. The most likely idea being talked about right now is having Bret lead a stable of Canadians who have close ties to the Hart Family. Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit are the most likely candidates to join Hart and help him fight Evolution. Also Lance Storm might come back as a full time wrestler and join the stable.

Now, what does this do for Orton? Well, this new storyline probably would put the whole Evolution split on hold and it may even put Orton winning the Title on hold. The WWE doesn't want to break up Evolution if they have their minds set on this whole Bret Hart ordeal. Giving thr Title to Orton would be a sign of the Evolution breakup and the WWE doesn't want to go there if Hart is coming in.

We will have more on this developing story in the coming weeks.

Holy Crap, I just got the Newsletter and read this story. I never thought Bret would return, but it looks like he is.
