Why do you watch wrestling?
Why do you watch wrestling then? The storylines, the competitors. Why?
I personally stopped in about 2001, but I'm interested into why you still watch it. |

Many Reasons, umm..I've been a fan for years and its a tough habit to break. I guess my main reason is its a key point in my social life, Every Friday and Saturday (I'm a brit) Me and a large group of my Mates/Wrestling Buddies will meet up and watch RAW or SD! and then go out and get drunk and party.. its a tradition.

I suppose it's a loyalty to the product, besides finding it interesting. I always watched it as a youngster, really markish. But it really hit me around '95 and '96, and I started getting into the deeper aspects. Then I watched guys like Stone Cold, The Rock, Triple H, Michaels, people like that bust their asses. I always have had some sort of loyalty to the WWE. I enjoyed WCW, but I always liked WWE more regardless of whether or not they were inferior at the time.
The Monday Night War made it all the more interesting, and I think it got alot of people drawn into the scene. The Rock made a mark out of me, and the new breed of superstars in general got me into it. I suppose now it's just that lingering loyalty again, to see who is next in the wrestling legacy. My hopes are in Orton and Batista. |

Do you agree that some storylines and angles are a bit tedious?
I don't like Eugene, from the bits I've seen. I think he's a crowd favourite. |

Exciting (they don't even have to be technically sound) matches, and good storylines.
Of course I love Wrestlecrap too. ![]() |

Just like everyone on here has said. Its not that if it sucks then we just stop watching all together. Most fans are loyal to wrestling that no matter what happens in it we are still bound to watch it. I have been watching wrestling forever now and at one point I almost did stop watching it. But I just kept on watching knowing that sooner or later it will get better again.

okay, it's a form of entertainment that has no competition, it is one of a kind.
I have felt myself loose interest in some recent matches, due to knowing what is about to happen or long talk sections of the show.... oh the divas keep me on the tube, they got boobies and I like boobies. |

I guess it's loyalty to the product and the fact that I dont watch any sports... I need something thats like competitive, and I'm quite happy with wrestling... In my eyes, WWE always has been and always will be number one. Hell, I tape Raw and SmackDown! every week and I buy DVDs and wrestling-related products as much as I can...

I used to look forward on Watching Raw when the stoylines were good and there was alway something to talk about when the show was over. Today I watch it becuase there is nothing good on TV and It's hard for me to break out of the habit because I've been watching wrestling for years.

I found some of the best matchs not to be technical. I was never a fan of technical wrestling, although I respected they worked hardest. I found best matches were the fun ones with lots of twists. |

To Steal Moves.
![]() To be honest the only real reason I watch WWE tv now is because of storylines, since I got TWC there are alot of better quality matches from Indy shows that i'd prefer to watch than your standard 5 minute Raw match with nothing happening except storyline development. I do still watch the PPV's but that's because that's the only place your likely to see some decent wrestling from the workers, the rest of the time most of the WWE talent do a half assed job to get by and futher a storyline |
