A good match
Eh, I'm bored, so here's a question:
In your opinion, what does a match need for you to consider it a good match?

All you need is Kurt Angle, Benoit, Jericho or Eddie Guerrero and just like that you have a 3 star match

A good crowd helps a lot, cause its fun to see other people getting excited about it. I like a lot of in-ringpsyology; not necessarily the submission kind, but the selling kind. I like it when it really looks like the guy just got his shit ruined.

2 good workers who know how to wrestle
Decent crowd, not a huge crowd, just one that can understand what a good match is and react to it and too be honest that should be it |

Barbeque Sauce...a stunner...puppies...
Nope I think thats it... I guess guys like Benoit, Angle, and Daniels wouldn't HURT the match, but skills are really a factor once you break it all down

Those spots that make people go "Wow!" but force them to go "Wow!" again in succession. I love it wen that happens, mainly due to the crowd adding to the atmosphere of what's gonig on in and out of the ring.

1. 2 Above Average Workers (Angle, Benoit, Rock, HHH, etc)
2. A HOT CROWD 3. CRAZY SPOTS 4. Wrestlers kicking out of the other's finishing move 5. The match needs to be at least 20 minutes long |

at least one good wrestler
15 minutes to 1 hour length at least 3 high spots (note: high spot doesn't necessarily = powerbomb through table or something like that) decent story telling a little chain wrestling multiple pin attempts I'm not a very fussy guy. Since the title is "a good match", I will consider matches like Benoit/Angle to be "excellent" and not just "good". A recent good match was the 8 man elimination on Smackdown. |

Anyway, as for me, I don't think there's a specific formula to a good match. I've been surprised by quite a few matches that I would've never thought I would get into. I remember watching Jindrak and Cade v. Hurricane and Rosey on Heat once, and for some reason, I was way into it. I thought it was a good match. Now I'm babbling, so [/post] |

Good Annoucing as well along with the crowd and good moves, as well as false finishes that will surprise the crowd.
