List your favorite mark-out moment(s) before you became a wrestling smark.

Lex Luger bodyslams Yokozuna at Summerslam-
At 8 years of age, I didn't think Lex Luger was a terrible wrestler, or realize that the WWE was priming him to be the next Hulk Hogan. In retrospect, I am ashammed I marked out the way I did back then.

123 Kid steals $10,000-
X-pac was a decent mid-card face, and him out-cunning Razor Ramon was classic.

SCSA 96 vignettes on Bret Hart-
Awesome. SCSA's program with Bret Hart catapulated his career, which eventually led to the Attitude Era.

Bret Hart v. Owen Hart @ WM10-
Great match which told a story through wrestling. I only wish I can mark out to wrestling matches now the way I did back when I saw this match.

There are more mark-out moments, but these were the first to come to mind.

List your own.

I started watching Nitro at 8pm before Raw came on. Imagine my suprise when I tune in and see none other than Razor Ramon come through the crowd, grab a mic, and say "You want a war? You got one." I was thinking to myself, OMFG WWF is invading WCW!! Good times. I think that is my last Kayfabe memory.

The problem is, all of my HUGE Mark out moments still allie even though I am a smark...ECW Return on RAW, Jericho winning the title on RAW, Scott Hall appears on Nitro, Ric Flair wins the Title (every time I marked like a little bitch), Cactus Jack returns on SmackDown (to fight HHH), The Horsemen reunite and Ric Flair comes back, Austin won the Title at Mania 14...and then since I was there live (4th row bitches) at Mania 17 as well. Benoit winning the World Title...from Sid...and again from Triple H. Rob Van Dam beating Bam Bam for the TV Title. Raven won the WCW US Title. Terry Funk winning the ECW Title at Barly Legal. Mankind winning the Title. Razor Ramon winning at Mania 10...yeah those are kind of my biggest mark out moments, and all of them still apply even after I became a smark...so Blah!

Been smart to the business for like 12 years and still had a ton of mark out moments in that time. Before then would probably be Bret Hart being announced as the new WWF champion on Superstars out of nowhere.

The most psyched (whilst not what you would call 'marking out') i've been this year would be Triple H making Shelton Benjamin look like a million dollars 2 weeks straight (although the beatdown was inevitable)

Kurt Angle beating Jericho at No Way Out 2000 was probably my last 'mark out'

Yeah, like others said, I mark out from time to time. RKO anybody

But others are:

Hart Foundation Reunuion
Pillman coming back from injury and attacking Austin, then almost breaking his ankle.
ECW Reunion
DX formation #2 (actually, it would be #3 if you count the first one with HBK and HHH)
Benoit Title Win
Lugar winning the Title from Hogan on Nitro
Warrior Winning the Title
Warrior returning at Mania 8 (Now, that might of been the biggest ever)

Orton Winning the Title at Summerslam

I don't remember when this happened, or which PPV.
But it was Diesel and Bret Hart in a cage match..
And Diesel was going to win when out of nowhere.. The Undertaker's arm reached out from under the ring and grabbed Diesel's leg, then pulled him down into the ring as Bret Hart retains the championship

& The Reformation of the Hart Foundation.. when Owen Hart and the British Bulldog were fighting, and Bret Hart came out and gave them a speech, then the three hugged.

I don't consider myself a "smark," and really think all wrestling fans not directly involved in the business are marks to some degree. It offends a lot of epople, but if we weren't marks, we wouldn't be watching.

The last "Holy shit!" mark out moment I had was long after I "smarked." One of the biggest (or atleast most prominent) in recent history was the collpasing ring. That had me going : eek: even though it was blatantly rigged.

see Lara Emily's response.

at WMXX I was shouting "Tap, DAMMIT!!" at the screen.

I would like to also add the Brock Lesnar superplexing Big Show into the ring and collapsing it on SmackDown to the list.

Stephanie getting Stunned by Stone Cold....

...also the post-Survivor Series '00 promo that Stone Cold cut on the "injured" HHH that ran Stephanie off the screen was classic.

I loved it When Rock first won the Title at SS Deadly Games 98 I was jumping up and down, then he turned heel and I was mad because I liked him as a face, the next night at Raw in Rupp Arena with One of the best RAW Main Events of all time, Austin vs The Rock for the Title and that place was popping big for Stone Cold especailly when Judge Mills Lane said Austin got a title shot if he didn't win the tourney.

Pretty much any match during Goldberg's unbeaten streak. Even my dad became a fan of his because of it and he didn't/doesn't like wrestling.
Anytime Sting and the nWo had a fight
Anypoint during DDP/Raven and DDP/Savage fueds
DDP's first World Title win.

Let's see...

Undertaker returning @ SummerSlam '94 - I didn't expect the WWF to actually pull it off at the time and I assumed at the time that Dibiase's 'take was the real one. >_>

Undertaker sending Mankind off the HitC and through it at KotR '98 - I was like... omfg

Sting's appearances from Uncensored '97 until early '98 - I admit it. I marked out like a bitch whenever her beat down the nWo.

Hogan being thrown out at Royal Rumble '92 - It was one of them "HA! HA!" types of things.

Jericho "winning" the title on Raw - come on... who didn't mark out when that happened...

HBK beating Bret Hart in Sudden Death at WM12

Attending WMX8

HHH tapping out to Benoit, clean, and in the middle of the ring at WMXX.
I think I was screaming TAP...TAP YOU FUCKER. Not the best idea considering it was around 4am

Brock Lesnar going up to the top rope at XIX, then promptly fucking it up.

Brock suplexing Big Show and then breaking the ring

Not one of my biggest mark out moments but back when the Alliance angle had just begun and before Invasion on Raw Austin came out and stunnered nearly every member of the Allliance and the old SCSA was back. I marked out a bit at that.

Mankind winning the title from the Rock on Raw

Cactus Jack returning to face HHH at the Royal Rumble

Angle beating the Rock for the title at No Mercy

DDP being revealed as the stalker (thought this was the beginning of a huge push for DDP)

Benoit winning at WM 20

Eddie Guerrero winning the title

Raven's and Tazz's debuts

And of course Jericho's win that never happened as I said earlier

Lesnar messing up the Shooting Star Press

When Orton won the IC title

When Orton RKO'd Beniot on Raw and beat him

Probably one of the biggest was when Austin turned heel at Wrestlemania 17

And another big time was when we all thought HHH and HBK were gonna reform DX. I was smiling ear to ear to only get it ruined by HHH.

Even though I have smarked up to everything for a long time know I think its true that almost everone still has there Mark Out moments. That is what makes everything so great.

Lesner fucking up the SSP. Although I still think it was Angle's fault for that. If he was at least 2 feet more towards Lesner it would've been perfect!

Beniot winning the title. I was marking like a bitch!

And of course...the ring collapsing. I still maintain, to this day! It wasn't rigged. And nothing you guys can tell me will tell me different.

Ummm, Lesner place Angle where he wanted him, and if he were closer Lesner still would have fucked up the press as he didn't get enough rotation on the SSP, Don't you dare blame Angle

Snow and Holly in the Mississippi river. I loved that match, until I became a smark and learnt that no-one really likes Holly. I've never covered my tracks so fast.

What? Who said I was fickle?

Tazz's WWF debut, considering I was there

Jericho beating HHH for the title.

Benoit beating HHH for the title.

HBK beating HHH for the title.

RVD's return at Guilty as Charged.

RVD in general

when Vince returned in March of 2000 and helped the Rock beat the Big Show on RAW.

Razor Ramon beating Diesal at Summerslam 94

Bret beating Yokozuna at WM X
