So I'm Looing For A Song But I Don't Have A Clue What It's Called...
I believe it was on NHL 2004 (EA Sports) although it may have been Madden. I think the band is called 'The .....' (don't know the 2nd part )

Anyways, don't laugh or anything if these lyrics are way off but the chorus starts with something along the lines of "And then you clap your hands (and you feel the crowd)"

Anyone?

Last years Madden had some good songs on it, but the only ones I remember off it are "Back in the Mud" by Bubba Sparx and "These Days" by Alien Ant Farm.

Is it rap or rock?

A random note, but probably my favorite sports song is "Losers" by N.E.R.D

If you go to google and type in that one line, odds are that something will come up, and if not try adding Madden to it, stuff like that is generally easy to find.
