Hulk Hogan Question

Does anybody know how Hogan debuted in the WWF way back when? Was his first appearance a match or a promo? Also, who was his first match against?

You'll have to clarify. He technically debuted twice, once in 79, and then he went back to the AWA, and then came back in late 83. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.)

I think he debuted in the WWF with Freddie Blassie as his manager, and his first match was with Andre The Giant.

He also played in a hilarious angle with Howard Finkel once also.

Fink got knocked outside of the ring and he rolled underneath the ring. Moments later, out comes Hogan, painted green, with his pants ripped. They were implying Fink became The Hulk. That got marvel pissed off at the WWE in the first place.

On All Star Wrestling on 1/2/84 The Main Event was the Wild Somans vs Bob Backlund and a mystery partner Captain Lou Albano Objected and wanted to know who Backlunds mystery partner was so they had a one on one match between Backlund and Soman 3 the Wild Somans and Albano kept tripping Backlund and he went backstage and out comes Hogan the crowd went crazy the match ended in a Double DQ and it was said in the storyline that Backlund got Hogan to watch Blassie in his title matches with the sheik when in reality Backlund objected for Hogan getting the belt and said he wanted it and Vince Sr wanted Hogan to get the belt in 6 months or a year but Hogan said you promised me the belt and threatened to go back to the AWA.
