Other news I want to bring up in some way, shape, or form...

All of the sources here are from articles right on the TPWW Newsboard.

The In Demand PPV website is currently listing only two live NWA TNA PPV events in the month of September for the 1st and 8th. The remaining PPV slots for the rest of the month on the 15th, 22nd and 29th are being listed as two hour specials called TNA Hits.

The 9/15 event is scheduled to focus on the Tag Team Division, the 9/22 event is scheduled to focus on the X Division and the 9/29 event is scheduled to focus on the Heavyweight Division.

Good move or dumbass mistake? Are they making enough money otherwise to get by, and was the weekly PPV paying off enough to make it worth it?

Note that it is kind of speculation fueling rumours, but worth discussing anyway.

- Sean O’Haire is currently training for K1 and is very confident that he will do well. He has been telling friends that he is happy he is no longer with WWE because he did not like the pressure of the job.

Pretty cool news bit. I still wish they would have used him better, but it's good to see him doing something...Anywhere...

Many TNA’s wrestlers are upset with Dusty Rhodes getting the main event spotlight at his age. They appreciate the veteran leadership he brings backstage, but don’t feel he should be used as one of the main eventers.

Yeah, Dusty in the Main Event scene is one of the things that has really been a con in determining whether or not to order a NWA PPV. NWA TNA'smain event contains a lot of people who I could give a fuck less about, and from my PoV, that's only gonna hurt their situation.

Dusty pisses me off more than Triple H. Watching 9 people push Rhodes' fat ass up towards a guitar was NOT something I wanted to see, and was more painful than watching Triple H. It's a sad day when HHH is MORE entertaining than someone on his worst day, IME.

It's got me wondering if it's actually possible to book a major promotion without ego destroying it. I mean, you've got Dusty up there over new talent, plugging up airtime like the dozen Big Macs at breakfast clogged up his arteries. We get nostalgia title runs in theWWE (a la Hogan), and high placing has-beens in TNA. I wouldn't mind Dusty as much if he were featured less. I wouldn't mind if I didn't pay to see him in the ring ( )

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

And I've been to free shows held outside of my local mall that were better than that show.

I'd like to disagree. But I'm really hard pressed to find a worse one. Hell, even the "Viagra on a pole" match looks good compared to this.
