Raw's Main event--Spoilers inherrent to the very nature of the thread.
Giving some filler space so people can't say I didn't warn them
So yeah. Spoilers below. Benoit v Orton last night. Is this for better or for worse? The pro: Orton took a Hell of a lot of punishment one night prior, at Summerslam. If you look at it from this side of the coin, Orton looks better for beating on someone in his shape. The Con: As much as Orton took a beating, Benoit ain't exactly fresh as a daisy for this match. From this side of the coin, the match is therefore no more impressive. One step further, and you can say Orton's beating up on a contender who's not 100%. How do you look at it? Is this a good idea, or a bad idea in establishing Orton's credibility? “There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”--John Rogers |
