The Palatka (FL) Daily News had an article in their online edition profiling WWE Diva Wannabe Michelle McCool Alexander, who was voted off of Raw Monday after practically single-handedly winning the Divas Dodgeball game for her team at the SummerSlam PPV (she knocked out four of the six women). Ends up she was the county player of the year in Volleyball in high school. In the piece, she hinted that she might return when she said the following about a conversation that she had with Stephanie McMahon Levesque, "Right before the elimination, Stephanie emphasized that as the numbers get smaller, we might be hearing from them later with a contract offer." She also noted that while WWE paid her road expenses, she was also paid a stipend for her appearances on the Diva Search and mentioned she was a huge wrestling and Ric Flair fan growing up.

TNA Officials meet with talent about dropping weekly PPV's
By Jesse Suchanek on August 19, 2004 at 11:16 AM EST - TNA officials held a meeting with talent on Wednesday afternoon to inform them of future plans concerning the company. After breaking them up into small groups, officials spoke of the company's plans from this point on. As previously noted on WrestleView.com, TNA will be ending their weekly Wednesday night PPV format from Nashville, TN on September 8th in favor of a monthly PPV event one Sunday a month. The current plan sees the first Sunday three hour PPV event to take place on November 7th, although that has not been officially confirmed. They will also be moving the weekly Impact! tapings to Tuesday instead of Thursday starting on September 14th to allow more time for post-production. TNA wrestlers were informed that this new change would knock them down to one payday a week instead of two. Despite this new change, it was reported that none of the wrestlers spoke up about the situation. It is being said that one of the main reasons no one had the chance to speak up or ask questions is mostly due to the fact that Jeff Jarrett ended the meeting at 5:30 pm in order to prepare for last night's PPV event.
