Where are the Tough Enough People now?
Well I know where the winners are but what happened to the losers? Did they continue what they were doing to try to get into wrestling or did they quit. I know Josh is now on Smackdown and Chris Nowinski was on Raw. I also remember that during a segment on Raw they showed one of the losers in the back. (I dont remember his name but he was the one who had the back problem and everyone thought was gonna win it.) But I was wondering what happened to most of them and is there any way that we might see them in the future. If anyone has any info can you please tell me.

Nowinski's most likely done wrestling due to that concussion he's STILL recovering from. Matthews is an announcer. Maven is a Heat jobber. Nidia's on the occasional Raw. Morgan, Capotelli (sp?), Shaniqua and Nitro are in OVW. Jackie's on Smackdown and the rest are probably either working indies or getting on with their lives.

Jessie is also working on the production staff, I think. (She's the tiny one from season two)

I know that a bunch of the TE "losers" are on the indy circuit now. I know for a fact that Hawk, Scott, Shadrick, and Anna are, and the rest that I knew of have slipped my mind.

Well - I'll go back over the seasons of TE for ya as best I can. The winners have been covered above, as has Jessie from TE2. So here goes...

*TE1
Taylor was working indies here in the US, and then did a few matches in Japan before completely falling off the face of the earth. She was also (or so I heard from various sources) linked to Brian Kendrick at one time. Shame that she's vanished, she did have a lot of potential.

Greg Whitmoyer works indies as Greg Matthews, most notably in CZW where he has had a bit of success. He usually teams with The Rockin' Rebel, and is billed as "Tough Enough" Greg Matthews. He's a pretty decent talent.

Chris Ni was working indies, and worked in OVW for some time, and then he too faded off. I heard he was living in NC, but not sure on that, and I don't think that he is still wrestling at all.

*TE2
Kenny Layne is working indies as Kenny King. He works mainly in CA / NV, where he is based out of. He has done a few indie shots across the US though, and still works a decent amount of shows.

Pete was working indies in NJ,where he was/is based out of. He worked with JCW or JAPW (I forget which one) for a bit, and then just stopped wrestling all of a sudden.

Danny Carney is still working in the VA area, where he is based out of. He has done a lot of shows, and is pretty good from what I have seen and heard. He just doesn't have the overall personality for it.

Hawk was living in FL and worked a few shows there before he moved to CA. He has done quite a few shows, but he's now cut back on shows to focus more on acting in TV / films. He also has an agent now who is helping him (or trying to). He recently did a project in Miami,FL - but not sure what it was.

*TE3
Jonah is working indies in the NE area quite often. His schedule stays pretty good, and he has worked matches with Reckless Youth, Al Snow, Gowen and a bunch of others.

Justin was living in Florida and worked numerous shows there - and won his first gold there as well. He moved to Louisiana some time ago with his work, and should be back into the business shortly.

Eric was working a few shows in the northern half of the country,but haven't heard a bit from him in a while. He is mainly into modeling, and I believe that that is what he's currently doing.

Scott Chong worked a few indie shows in NJ,FL and VA, and has since backed off a bit. He's had a limited schedule due to his school and personal life - which is a soap opera / reality show in itself (mainly because he makes it one). He can be somewhat followed at www.ScottChong.com (I believe that's the addy). He's still going to JMU for a medical degree of somekind.

Also, Shaggy, not sure on what backstage skit you meant on RAW, but they showed Jonah once on a RAW episode backstage in a skit with Tommy Dreamer and Trish. He didn't quit / get cut due to back problems though, he actually made it to the final cut with Matt & John (on the live show). Justin was cut in the final episode before that.

AND - on a side note - Jonah worked on a TNA PPV when he was still really green, basically right off the show. He worked vs. Mike Sanders, and despite the match not being so good, they offered him a deal, but he turned it down on the idea of WWE not liking the move. Stupid move, IMO, as you're turning down a guaranteed shot to take a major chance that thus far still hasn't turned up.

Yeah Taylor looked good even in her rookie year. She spent a lot of time with ARISON in Japan and basically she learnt their style. When she came back to the U.S, nobody could work with her since she actually wrestled.

Well its been a while since Ive seen the old Tough Enough episodes. I knew I was saying something probably close to it. Thanks for correcting me though. I didnt want others to really go out and say something like I did.

I didn't mean it in a negative way or anything, just meant it to tell you who it was and such. I totally understand missing details and all, as I've forgotten a bunch of shit to replace it with other more important information.

Yeah, I remember her going over and wrestling some pretty impressive tag matches and such. I always thought her and Alexis Laree would put on some great matches. Alexis and Taylor were two of the few females in the US who could (as you said) actually wrestle just as good,if not better,than the men.

If WWE had a serious women's division (which they in a sense choose not to have - since they did have / do have talent that they never use right) both of those girls would be great assets to the company

What ever happened to Jake from Season 2? You know, the guy with the goofy haircut that everybody thought was going to win until Jackie and Linda where announced as the winners. The look on that guy's face when they announced the second winner was Jackie Gayda was priceless. Anyway whatever happened to him?

Jake was working as a volunteer firefighter, as I believe he did before TE (among the other things he did before TE). Speaking of which - one of the reasons he didn't win TE (aside from WWE's lock on having 2 women win) was that he was part of a porno flick that WWE didn't know about until about mid-way in.

I guess they wanted to avoid the whole negative publicity and scandal ala American Idol's Frenchie Davis - so they just went on without mentioning anything about that.

Good question my friend, good question indeed.

Alexis was working all over the freakin' place, and had been working with TNA until WWE signed her to a developmental deal. She was working in OVW for a while, but I haven't really seen her name on the results, or mentioned on the training, etc.. - so I have no idea at all what happened to her

She's still listed on OVW's site as part of their roster, but that site is updated like once every 4 years. Hopefully someone will know something about it all...
