Album that surprised you the most in the 2003

Which album came out that you were sure would be less than sub-par, but turned out to be a really excellent album?

For me it's Blink-182's new album. I really expected the same old stuff from them, but it seems like they are trying to be a bit more serious in their music. I really enjoyed the album.
