Question I am thinking of getting an amp for Christmas
What are some good middle range guitar amps?

I am just an average player, but i am getting better, so do any of you guitar people know what type of amp would be good for me? I guess my price range is from around 200 to about 500 or so

btw I've got a Fender Strat and a Fender Telly if it makes a difference

That's what I have. it set me back like £250-300 or so... it's pretty hot. It has a sweet warm clean tone, and the distortion is your typical awesome marshall distortion. My only problem is even with all the treble up to shit, it still sounds kind of sludgy.

That might have more to do with the acoustics of my room though.

I play a tele through it too, only I have a SD hot rail pickup in the bridge, so it probably sounds a bit more metal and kvlt than a typical tele.

Try it out though if you get the chance

And if it's too much, the 100-150 watt versions would probably be fine too
