British Humor
So....do all Brits actually think it's hillarious when a man runs around in women's underwear? A more generalized question is whether or not all Brits think that the so called "British humor" is all that funny. Here in america most of that style of stuff is

Mr Bean is hardly highbrow stuff so if you like a middle aged man obsessed with his teddy then you can't criticise men running around in womens underwear ( which I don't recall seeing very ofter ).

Do all Americans think it is funny to have some Jew doing stand-up cracking jokes about plane food?

I have no idea what show you'd even be talking about there.
We have our fair share of wank stuff though. Check out brass eye and the day today. |

We should make more cartoons about yellow people, that would make us funnier.

British humour, at it's best, devours American humour. Easily. |

British Humor is great. Granted, I haven't seen a lot of the t.v. shows and whatnot. But I love Monty Python, Eddie Izzard, The Office, and Shaun of the Dead was brilliant.
Pretty much the main stuff that has carried over to here, but I'd love to seek out some other stuff. I hear "Spaced" is pretty good? |

Watch Spinal Tap. Watch The Holy Grail. Watch Black Adder (Atkins is better in this than Mr. Bean). Watch Brass Eye. Watch Chef!.
All of those are hilarious. |

Spinal Tap is classic of course. Although they aren't actually British. Close enough.

I believe Rocky Horror Picture Show has the aforementioned humor.
Also, with the cultural barrier, we are to find different things humorous. |

Its not hilariously laugh out loud funny, but there are tons of hilarious parodies in there. Lots of making fun of the new Star Wars movies. Plus, theres a character in the series who got kicked out of the terretorial army for trying to invade Paris with a tank. A lot of the people involved with Shaun Of The Dead were involved with Spaced, hence the reason why Simon Pegg and a few others have starred in both. Simon Pegg was on Xfm a few weeks back and said that a new series of Spaced will come out eventually, but they are planning on working on a new movie, which features a British policeman as an action hero. |
