Looks like it's gonna be HBK vs HHH for the 20th time..

Looks like most of the fans want HBK to face HHH (i know it's not a poll asking who they'll vote for, but this shows their support for hbk), i actually woudln't mind the match as long as HBK wins, but if it's just another job to the unstoppable, sledge hammer swinging, big nosed, burier of talent, i'll be pretty pissed off.

And then we've got a match we've already seen on a payperview as well, Edge and benoit vs la resistance -_-

That's 2 matches that have already been shoved down our throats, i'd really like it if Edge won the title from HHH, and Benoit and HBK would be a good team to hold the tag titles in my opinion, but that will never happen.

Would setup a Edge - Benoit feud quite nicely though. I don't want HBK to win the vote, and although whoever faces Triple H will lose (another reason why I don't want Benoit to win, I like the whole he's never lost to Triple H thing), I think this may sadly be the only decent way forward from a storyline point of view.

I think what might happen is that HBK will win the vote to face HHH, and then Edge and Benoit will face La Resistance. And during that match Edge will turn on Benoit and leave Benoit to get pinned by La Resistance, which will fully turn Edge heel.

HBK vs HHH and La Resistance vs Benoit and Edge was done at Bad Blood 2004, and those matches at that event weren't exactly amazing, so I think it's really daft that they're trying to force these matches to happen again.

The only positive I can see from this scenario is that it will be likely that Edge and Benoit will feud with each other - perhaps Edge turns on Benoit during the match, and thus starts a 3 month feud between the two.

It's HBK for sure. He's BY far the most popular. I think that it should have been the 2 finalist wrestling against each other at TT for # 1 contendership.

Well thats the main problem with RAW, as I see it. HHH is champ again, and once again he has no fresh oppoents to go up against. We are basically back to where we were in 2002.

I didn't want to see HHH vs HBK in June for Bad Blood, and that was even with the HIAC gimmick. People were saying that would be their last match for a long time, I knew different, and now we're on the eve of seeing them go at it once again. As I recall, Bad Blood was a bad show, I see this one being even worse.

Edge v Benoit should be good down the road, especially if they throw Jericho and Christian into the mix, making E+C vs Benoit and Jericho. I also wouldn't mind seeing them build to Edge vs HBK at Mania, with Edge getting the win as a heel.

If they wind up going with Orton as champ coming out of Mania, a long program with him and Edge (who has a win over young Randal), if booked properly could be something fresh and exciting.

HHH will win no matter who he faces. He still kinda has a storyline with Orton. So the WWE will basically screw the fans and make the heel win this ppv.

Well thats flair busting another nut seeing as he thinks hbk vs hhh = best match of all time. He should just start dryhumping hhh's leg and be done with it.

If Orton is going to get the belt, he needs at least one program before HHH wants the belt back. Edge beat him, they had a helluva match at Vengeance, and everyone was raving about their matches on the road. They could do worse, a lot worse.

I'm not a fan of Orton as a babyface either, but it looks like they are going with him, so you kinda have to live with it and work around it. I mean I could suggest a huge Jerihco-Benoit program for the World Title, but it aint gonna happen.

I'm hoping that Benoit gets the shot, so HBK & Edge can team up and face La Resistance for the World Tag Team Championship. That would make a great opener, IMO. If they have Edge leave HBK out there to wrestle by himself, and HBK went on to win the titles, the place would arrupt. Maybe then we could see Eric Bischoff "screw-over" HBK, and have him traded to SmackDown! for let's say, The Big Show? That leaves a vacant spot next to Edge as the World Tag Team Champions, which I would love to see filled by Christian. Then you can have Benoit & Jericho who have heat with Edge & Christian fighting for HBK and the World Tag Titles.

One of two things is going on here, and both of them are equally stupid.

1) The WWE is rigging the pre-polls, and will also rig the true polls

-Even though rumor has it that McMahon really wants to let the fans decide the matches at Taboo Tuesday, this pre-poll indicates otherwise. I can't possibly fathom the fact that the marks really want to see HBK vs. Triple H for the billionth time when their previous two encounters have been lack luster to say the least, and they haven't even really been interacting with each other on TV. Nobody wants to see HBK vs. HHH Part 10 because they don't have chemistry togther. Even the marks can't be that stupid. This leads me to believe that Taboo Tuesday is a sham, and the whole idea of an "interactive PPV" is just a big marketing ploy.

2) The marks really ARE that stupid.

-Is it possible that the marks of the world really DO want to see Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels again? Even though JR, King, Flair, Triple H and Shawn Michaels all hype their "nearly a decade long rivalry" as the greatest thing ever, you would think that the average WWE fan would have enough brains to realize that it's nowhere close. If the marks really are this stupid, then I fear for Americana, and I fear for Taboo Tuesday.

Well i know i'm way off from the popular opinion here but I think its going to be Edge v.s H . Most likely cause of a rig job. I think there pushing edge for a major heel turn and i think what will happen is edge will give H a hell of a match but will lose . The next week Evolution will approach Edge and play the whole ' Respect role " , And Edge will ultimatley replace Orton as the 4th member of Evolution. Trips will continue to smash the competition and Orton will begin a long lasting fued with the person that took his place in the rotation ( Edge ). Obviously orton will win the Rumble.( Isnt this obvious? I mean unless they go with a major Cena Push which i would mark out for . Orton is a lock ). And then the Trips vs Orton feud will go til the Rumble.

I wouldn't mind seeing Edge getting the shot. I would then like JR & King to talk about how talented he is, but just how it doesn't seem likely HBK & Benoit didn't get voted in. Christian also gets the IC Title shot, despite being probably the most heat garnishing guy in the WWE right now. Then Edge and Christian both lose and blame it on various injuries, etc. HBK & Benoit win the World Tag Team Championship at Taboo Tuesday, and Edge gets a title shot, and he can choose his partner. Edge & Christian reunite with Tyson Tomko as their "Problem Solver" and gain their record-tying eighth World Tag Team Title win. "The People's Champions" then begin to feud with Rhyno & Tajiri for the titles as well.

hair VS hair match, their match at Backlash, their cage match with hogan...THEY WERE AWESOME!!!!
that was the best feud of 2002 IMO


sorry, but reading again what you wrote, that makes some sense. even in the angle feud, he still had hogan there...but thats not neccasarily a bad thing (feuding and having someone else with you)

like anyone can honestly say that this was what was going to happen. as popular as benoit is, HBK has been around that much longer and is that much popular. so how many times have we seen these two in the title match recently?! way too many. royal rumble, wrestlemania, backlash, bad blood etc etc. and besides, what difference does it make, HHH has only had the title for a month so he ain't gonna job it yet - he's had to go 6 months without it round his waist.

so that leaves edge to give benoit the spear and set up their fued. at least this means i can go to sleep an hour before the end of the show.

Makes me wonder that they took Orton out of the mix so he wouldn't lose to Micheals in the vote.

But i'll be voting for HBK

And an Edge/Benoit feud wouldn't be bad, Edge turns on Benoit during the tag match, it writes itself

Ill be voting for edge. I don't want Benoit or HBK jobbing to HHH yet again, so Edge is right, it's his turn to job to HHH, vote Edge people since HHH will win anyway!
