Question regarding XP Professional
Ok..just created a network in my house and basically, I have a domain controller setup already. So, it's setup as a domain...I have 2000 Advanced Server on the DC and I'd just like to use XP for the other PC's....so...what I'm getting at is.
XP Home doesn't connect to a domain right? You'd need XP Professional to make it apart of the domain I just made? Thanks. Forever Dedicated to Terry Matthews RIP |

Don't use a domain. It's P2P in the house, just use a workgroup. "house" for example.
You'd only need a domain if there were several departments using the same server or something to that effect. IF it's a household network it's just overkill. |
