AMW to the WWE?
TNA’s star tag team “America’s Most Wanted” have been asking several wrestlers for advice regarding going to WWE. WWE has been interested in using them once their TNA contract expires. Most of the people they asked suggest that they go, although they are earning well in TNA, WWE would be able to offer them more money.
It has been suggested to the duo that they give TNA the right of first refusal out of respect and loyalty to the company. Some are asking them tell TNA what WWE is offering, and see if they can match it. The standard length for WWE deals these days are three years, plus a two year option. **Credit: Wrestling Observer. |

AMW in WWE would rule. Definitely a plus for the tag team division if there's going to be a small influx of tag teams joining the roster.

I would actually want AMW to go to WWE because of 2 reasons. 1. I never get to see them because I don't have FSN and can't order the PPV'S. and 2. It's been said by millions the tag scene in WWE is kinda dead, a tag team like AMW can really boost it up. Truthfully I would like to see 3LK there just for the sole purpose of seeing Road Dogg again.

AMW would be a phenomenal addition to the RAW tag team division. What would be more perfect than America's Most Wanted versus the French sympathizers?
Plus, when WWE inevitably disbands the team, Chris Harris would make a great Intercontinental Champion. |

WWE needs more "real" tag teams, so this would be logical.

Yeah, I don't really see a down side to this. Big fame, more money, and even if it doesn't work out, they can make tons on the Indy scene cause they are former WWE talent. They would be set for a long time.

I've been waiting for this moment for a long while. It will fucking rule if they do sign. Now all the WWE needs to do is find some decent teams for them to compete against...

James Storm said it right when he said that classic tag team wrestling is dead. There's not more real "teams" out there. They just have two singles wrestlers, stick 'em together and give them the belts. AMW is one of the great, true tag teams out there. Bringing them into WWE would be great. You put them on Raw, have a nice fued with La Resistance, it would be pure gold. However, Vince does tend to "tire" of some things. He'd probably bring AMW in, put the tag belts on them, then get tired of them and put them on Heat or Velocity. So bringing AMW into the WWE is kind of a double-edged sword.

I would rather see AMW end up on SmackDown!. I can see the new blood tag team really having a personal feud with The Dudleys. And maybe a "which tag team is the future today?" feud with The Basham Brothers. Triple X, The Naturals & Team Canada are other teams I'd work on signing. 3 Live Kru (RAW), Kid Kash & Dallas (SmackDown!) and Michael Shane (On RAW in a tag team with cousin, Shawn Michaels, but call Michael "Shane Michaels").

yeah it would be nice to see them in WWE but ya know that's just one tag team. One tag team is not gonna save the tag division. The tag division has been crapped on ever since WGTT was disbanded.
AMW added to the Raw tag division would be nice. BUt how long would they last before they are tossed about and turned into nothing while Triple H remains the dominant one on the show. I would suggest movin them to SD! if they were to ever come that way they can get more TV time and stuff. Really show what they can do then if it is at all logical then move them to Raw that way they are already shown quite a bit on TV and people in WWE can recognize them and know that they are good that way if they aren't seen on TV oncethey are on Raw then people will actually want to see them cause they know that those two have talent. besides the SD! tag division needs quite a bit as well. |

Now see it would be great to see some of these guys from TNA go to the WWE and spice it up.
But only one small problem to this. WWE wont allow the TNA stars to pull off half the moves that they pull off in the TNA. They wont be "safe enough". So all there acts will be toned down alot more. But it would still be nice to see AMW in the WWE. Might add something to it aslong as they go to Raw so I can see them. |

Ok guys...the rumors I have heard are this...AMW HAS been approached by WWE. However there is a similar problem that AMW has with WWE-similar to the AJ Styles problem...NOT ENOUGH MONEY!!! They want to work AMW to death and pay them actually less PER WEEK plus they have to work FOUR TIMES AS HARD.
Right now, AMW is weighing both sides. However, in interviews about a year and 1/2 ago BOTH Harris and Storm said that if WWE did make them an offer that they wouldn't take it...goes back to the WCW days when both men had just signed contracts and WWE refused to take in both men at the time. When Mike Tenay was on Wrestling Observer's talk show this past week he did discuss this. He said that the WWE did speak to AMW and make them an offer but AMW re-signed with TNA after consideration. My guess is that Tenay would be a legit news source for something like this. WWE may offer more money but their wrestlers still have to pay for travel expenses from my understanding. I believe they don't pay for the overseas trips though. Regardless if you consider how much they travel that "big" paycheck in the end really doesn't end up being that big afterall. I remember reading somewhere recently (probably PWI around the time they were discussing the Diva competition) about the starting salary of most wrestlers for the WWE and it was NOT a 6 figure salary. |

I just figured something. WWE isn't really good with teams that aren't from the WWE. I just don't want AMW to end up like NWO did. It would be good to see AMW on Smackdown though as long as they don't screw it up. Like I said 3 Live Kru would be good or just bring back BG James make him Road Dogg tag him with Billy Gunn. He is still employed with the WWE right?

BTW, the only one worth signing in 3 Live Kru is Ron Killings, but I'd prefer not to see K-Kwik jobbing to jobbers again.

I would guess its probably pretty easy to get out of a TNA contract, so I'd imagine they could still go if they wanted.
Comes down to money and exposure. Even if they end up on Heat/Velocity, they'll still make more money than with TNA. And who knows how long TNA will bea round anyway. In my eyes they are crazy not to jump at the opportunity (assuming WWE is offering more money). |

Not to mention they exposure they would get right away. A few appearances on RAW or SmackDown!, and they could be in the tag team record books. If they do leave the WWE sometime down the road, they would be in high demand for indy bookings, and TNA is a possibility.
At the moment I consider Chris Harris & James Storm big fish in the wrestling world, if they signed with the WWE, they would be sharks, IMO. To my understanding, both guys are very talented, so I don't see an cons with signing them to contracts and using them in some kind of tag team role. |

END of story I would really like to see AMW on RAW/Smackdown. You get more money you get more exposure. And I think that they could really pay off. I think I'd prefer them on Smackdown though. But, it all depends what they want and by the way the person that said TNA would close. You're probably right. Maybe Vince will buy TNA out also. But, TNA was never as big as ECW and WCW so maybe they'll just shut down by themselves give it 3 maybe 4 or five years and we'll see where TNA is then.

America's Most Wanted will not be going to the WWE in the near future. Here is an extract from Chris Harris' coloumn.
After one of the most stressful months of my career, the decision has been made to stay in TNA. After several sources informed me that there was interest from the WWE, I made some contacts and tried to look at the pros and cons. While some may think that it is a no brainer to make the jump, after looking at the options I had to consider that it may not be the right time. After many sleepless nights, a final decision was made last week. Storm and I sat in the office and resigned with TNA. We are happy with our decision and hope to make this another successful year for TNA and America's Most Wanted. I tried to get advice from several of the guys that I respected in the business and I received more reasons why I should go. I believed that it was a good move and one that would take me to the next level of my career. I had my mind made up and was prepared to give notice to TNA. When the change of heart came I am really not sure. To be honest, there was a lot about the details of the switch to WWE that I was uncomfortable with. It made me question whether or not it was a good move. At the same time, TNA stepped in and made some changes to make me feel that Storm and I were worth it to them to stay. While the bottom line is that I have to do what is going to be the best for me, I am also one of the very few wrestlers who believe loyalty is very important. TNA gave me a huge opportunity and I will always appreciate that. I would never want to burn a bridge with a company that has done that for me. I would hope that if this option ever comes around again and a different decision is made, that I would get a handshake and a "thanks for everything and good luck". It's funny...as I sat up late on many nights and couldn't help but think that as I came up in the business the past 10 years, this is the one spot that any wrestler would love to be in. Now that I was in that spot, I had no idea what in the hell to do. I believe I made the right decision. Only time will tell. I actually think 3 Live Kru would do well on SmackDown!. Road Dogg (they should have him use it if he returns) & K-Kwik could work as a team, feuding with Hardcore Holly & Billy Gunn over which New Age Outlaw is the better tag team wrestler. Konnan can either join Road Dogg & K-Kwik and wrestle in the cruiserweight division, team with Rey Mysterio and reform the "Filthy Animals" or become a colour commentator on SmackDown! or Velocity.
