According to Chicagobusiness.com entrepreneurial pro wrestler and best selling author Mick Foley has signed a radio deal with Chicago-based UBC Radio, which distributes syndicated radio shows.

The two sides had been in talks for several months. UBC CEO Brad Saul says Mr. Foley�s show will be broadcast in at least 50 markets.

Mr. Foley, a three-time World Wrestling Entertainment champion, is author of two best selling memoirs, a novel and a children�s book. Mr. Saul says the talk show will cover a wide range of topics, including the gap-toothed wrestler�s left-leaning political views.

�He�s a renaissance man,� says Mr. Saul. �It should be a great program.�

Mr. Saul says he expects to find a Chicago station for the Foley show�which will launch next year� within a month or so.

Since launching last year, UBC has assembled a stable of programs that include talk shows for sex expert and Chicago Sun-Times columnist Laura Berman, television�s Judge Greg Mathis and listings program from TV Guide.

Most of UBC�s deals are revenue sharing arrangements, in which the talent gets 50% of national advertising sales made by UBC.
