future spoiler, aka, prediction
The main event at raw will be Team Jericho (not team orton....its team Jericho!
) VS Evolution, snitsky and Edge. This is the main event. This main event is for GM for the month. Now, how can this possibly be a main event? It can't, theres not enough riding on it to evavate it above JBL VS Booker T. Therefore, i am prediciting what many people have said, a maven heel turn. Maven beats batista, evolution is impressed by this. Id say he'll get a beatdown from them next week on Raw (andthen comeback, showing fight, ala Trish stratus), and during the match, he will get eliminated early. He'll then come out at the end of the match (with a few other wrestlers, causing mayhem), and in the midst of the mayhem, he will turn. You heard it here first....(i think) well, back to exam revision (even though my eyes are so sore that i cant see further than 3 metres in the distance and my hands are shaking like i have parkinsons) Top 5 Favourite wrestlers: 1. Carlito Cool 2. Chris Benoit 3. Randy Orton 4. Christian 5. Kurt Angle |

I would like to see a match added to the Survivor Series card on RAW. I'd like to see Eric Bischoff come out and say he doesn't give a damn about the WWE at the moment, and he doesn't give a damn about roster restrictions at the moment, etc. Then I'd like to see Eric declare a Invitational Contendership & Immunity Battle Royal that anyone in the WWE can enter. He tells us that Vince McMahon is forcing the GMs to lay back on hard working talent (with the release of A-Train, Billy Gunn & Test), and Eric cut two guys who were injured, but it still wasn't easy for him. So now he's going to bring out the best in the WWE's superstars, as he's going to give the winner a space on RAW, with one-year full immunity to any kind of firing, and the #1 Contender's spot for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and if anyone lays a hand on that wrestler outside of a wrestling ring, or doesn't make him feel welcome, they're instantly fired. Vince McMahon pops out and declares the match on, because he likes the idea. But he's going to make it more open than that. He declares that the winner of the Invitational Battle Royal can choose which roster they get full immunity, and that will determine whether they challenge for the IC Title, or the US Title. Mr McMahon informs us that the winner of the Battle Royal will also be granted officiating powers. Vinnie Mac also tells us that the winner of the match must be a superior athlete, so why not put somehting else on the line? The wrestler who wins can choose his brand, but the brand he doesn't choose, gets three wrestlers as compensation for this new "mega star's" presence on the opposing brand. The talent sent over to the winner's non-selected brand will be determined by the "powers that be" after Survivor Series, unless someone volunteers to defect. Bischoff agrees, and Mr McMahon says he doesn't need to agree, because it's on regardless of what Bischoff thinks. Anyway, let's say Simon Dean wins the Battle Royal, and chooses to feud with Shelton Benjamin (who beats Christian) over the IC Title on RAW. This makes him more of a pain in the rectum, and also makes the little guy "untouchable" so he can call people backstage fat, abuse referees, and DQ anyone who tries to raise a fist against him in a match (although another referee would be present to count the pinfall, etc.). We could see "The Super Nova of Fitness" run out during a wrestler trying out the Simon System (I like the idea of Rosey being a client of Simon's), and count the pinfall only for them, as a way of getting over how his program increases athletic ability. Point is, though, RAW now has to send three superstars over to SmackDown! after Survivor Series. Maven turns heel and joins Evolution in the main event, and we have Triple H, Batista, Ric Flair & Maven interrupt an Eric Bischoff video interview in which he is trying to tell us which wrestlers will be sent over to SmackDown!. Triple H informs Bischoff that the ruling at Survivor Series claims that Evolution runs the show for one month. They are the "powers that be" now, and they get to choose who is exiled from RAW. First on their list is, Chris Jericho. Next is the man who has sworn to come back, and a long time enemy of Triple H's, Shawn Michaels. The last is the "Legend Killer" Rand....Ric Flair stops Triple H and whispers something in his ear. Triple H then sighs and tells us he forgot how Orton can't get another title shot while Triple H is the champion. Evolution wants to eliminate threats, not harmless bystanders of Evolution in process. Triple H saves the third eviction to later. Eventually we see Triple H decide it will be Benoit (or Eugene) who goes. I n pops Hurricane who tells Triple H he may not be a threat. He may not be able to stop Evolution. But he will do the manly thing, the right thing, and the heroic thing, and volunteer to be exiled to SmackDown!, so Benoit (or Eugene) can stay on RAW, and kick Evolution's ass. Triple H looks pissed as Hurricane walks off into the sunset while Rosey, and the rest of the RAW lockeroom watch as Hurricane takes his stuff in a bag out to his beat down car, and drives off leaving us with a sad moment to end RAW. |

LOL, "there's not enough riding on it to elevate it above JBL vs Booker T"?
1) When has Booker ever main evented a card for the WWE? You think the WWE is going to let him ME the 2nd biggest show of the year? 2) HHH is on Raw. 3) It's a gimmick match that has a decent stipulation. And it might even be a War Games still. 4) Fans will want to see that match over the Smackdown match in the main event, trust me. |

Survivor Series 2001 and 2002, SummerSlam 2001. And I believe they count SummerSlam as the second biggest show of the year. |

Clarification:
#1 show of the year: Mania #2: Rumble #3: SummerSlam #4: SurvSer I think it would be stupid for them to make the RAW ME a War Games match at this point, only because there's no reason to hold off that announcement. If they were going to use War Games, they would have announced it last Monday to get 2 weeks of publicity for it. If they were to announce it next week, they'd only have that show to promote. Which I dont think is sufficient. I think there is a better chance that BT-JBL will "headline" (re go on last). Only because it s a title match, and quite frankly that RAW stip is pretty lame. I mean does anyone really care who's "running the show"? Especially when its only for a month. At least the SD ME is for the title. However, if JBL is retaining, then I could see them putting that match on 2nd from the top, and ending with the RAW elimination match (assuming Randy goes over, which is the only logical finish). Keep in mind at last year's show, the match with Austin's career on the line (a much bigger stip than anything on this card) was put below the Taker-Vince mess and the Goldberg-HHH snooze fest. So just because they have some crazy stip, doesn't mean it will go on last. BTW, more people watch SD these days, so it theory more people would be interested in the SD half of the crad. |

yeah but CyNick, I'm being real hear. I just can't see Booker headlining a huge PPV like that. Especially when HHH is on the card and is a World Champion. I mean from a marketing standpoint, I can't see that selling the PPV as the "best" match on the card. I don't know, maybe it's just my "don't care" attitude about Smackdown, but I just can't see that being the last match on the card. Especially when all those guys from RAW are in one match.
And I remember reading somewhere Survivor Series was the 2nd biggest. AWWW Whatever

I dont know, I think if BT is going to get the strap (which I haven't heard is happening) then I could see that going last. Maybe they'll swerve us all and Taker will go last. |

HHH thing i cant argue with except 4 the fact that Smackdown and Raw should get 2 main events a year decent stipulation....hardly....gimmick match, we see these matches on Raw every week (war games might make it slightly moire interesting, but still, war games kinda sux IMO) |

i'd say, in terms of what I enjoy most, it usually goes:
Mania - due to the mystique of the entire program Rumble - love it! very unique concept (which WCW attempted to copy with the 3 rings and IMO, was very unsuccessful) - speaking of rumble, i still cant beleive ernest the cat got time to dance in this years rumble ![]() Summerslam - we've waited sooo long for a quality PPV since Mania Survivor Series - i think 1996 survivor series wasthe one which put me off wrestling for about 7 years....it can be good tho |

I know know they position the Rumble as the #2 show. You said it yourself, they build the Rumble as the first step on the road to Wrestlemania. To use a sports analogy its like the Conference Championship games in the NFL, they set the stage for the Super Bowl (Mania). I think Summerslam was the #2 show back in the day, but over the past 5 or 6 years, since they've pushed the winner gets a shot at Mania more heavily, Rumble has become the #2 show. |

I dunno what's happening to RAW but it's clear they're trying to shake things up monumentally more than in past recent attempts in memory. For example last monday, Batista and "Naitch" thought when they were leaving they were saved by HHH when the music hit, only to be caught totally off guard by Tajiri--HILARIOUS! then Batista (I think) gets on the recieving end of an R.K.O. by Orton, and Orton, Benoit, and Y2J get the victory from Orton's pin, but what REALLY took me off my guard was that Batista shoved Flair to the mat when Flair was trying to get up and make sense of what had just happened with their humiliating loss...but I'm picking up that it wasn't just so much anger at Flair as it was at HHH also for not coming to save their asses, even though he specifically stated at the beginning of the show HE WOULD NOT BE THERE. I actually believe this got Batista so mad that he's ready to leave evolution after the SS match-up (in the backstage area), and he tells them "go find another pawn to take care of your dirty work", or something like that, and in a later segment Edge walks up, says he'd make the perfect fit for Evolution. Triple H and gang stare him down and roll their eyes like he's crazy or something, and then HHH says "YA KNOW WHAT EDGE? YA KNOW WHAT I THINK ABOUT YOU AS A PERFECT FIT FOR EVOLUTION?! HUH, WELL DO YOU?!" (all the while with an angry face, which turns into a devious grin as he continues): "I think you're absolutely right!" and then he's welcomed to the group by Flair and HHH. In a last SS segment, the evolution group hunts down Orton's team and clobbers them from behind for taking control of RAW for a whole month. In closing I'd just like to state my theory: The winning 4 of the match will each individually get a week to be GM, and even after Eric comes back I think it would be nice (all though he has been showing signs of a possible babyface turn as of last week, is where it really shined through), if Vince would just get rid of this sorry S.O.B. and get a manager or top talent of RAW or someone to take Eric's reigns as GM permanently...3 years is long enough w/mainly 1 GM + for a while EB & Austin as CO-GM's, speaking of which it'd be nice to see WWE actually work hard as they can to get Austin to resign in either a 100% GM of RAW role or a CO-GM, only this time with Ric Flair, by which point Flair would leave evolution and then someone like Tyson Tomko would join evolution.

Then of course there's the lost respect he might have for Triple H for not showing up. Myabe we'll find out this week that Flair & Batista both knew that Triple H was backstage last week, but he still couldn't be bothered to help. I still think the heels will win at Survivor Series, and I'm going to look forward to seeing Batista get the power. I think Batista is at a crossroads here, and they can either have him do a sharp U-turn, or have him continue over the rough terrain for a while. I'm hoping for the later option. |
