dunno. I watched Raw for the first time in like two weeks, but I have been reading some results and stuff. pretty sure Eugene wasn't on. y

Eugene's gimmick is tapped out, and there is nothing more for him to do, so you probably won't be seeing him in any major roles anymore.

It was tapped out months ago. The only chance they had of saving it was when he and Regal should have won the tag titles in Manchester.

It'll be all worth it if they do the ultimate heel turn. He was working for Evolution all along and he isn't retarded. What else, besides possibly supporting another nation than America, could get you more hated than playing a retard when your not, then revealing it? Storyline wise, I mean.

They could throw him in Evolution, or align him with a big heel, and he could show off his wrestling skill.

If they don't do that eventually, he will just be another joke gimmick along with the likes of the Gobbledy Gooker.

I can't help but think that if they did that, it would something like that time on "Taxi" when Andy Kaufman abandoned his "naive" european routine and turned Latka into a used car salesman. No one liked it, and eventually, Kaufman had to turn Latka back into his old persona. If you take away Eugene's "naive" mentally challenged gimmick, you take away the one thing that makes the character unique and Eugene becomes just another midcarder.

In other words, take away the gimmick, and Eugene is basically Gene Snitsky.

WWE once again drops the ball.

Instead of wasting time with skits for angles that are going nowhere, they could've been doing Eugene skits to keep him visible and fresh. Another thing that could have worked was sending Eugene to SD! for a while to give him more people to work with.

Let's face it, with the gimmick and the way it was being played, it was kinda doomed from the start - but they could have done better and turned the character into a big part for Dinsmore, instead of a quick job.

From the very start, my problem with the Eugene gimmick was that after it was over, the man behind the character, the very talented Nick Dinsmore, was going to go to waste. What can you do after playing a retarded gimmick? You can't just "snap out of it" all of a sudden and be normal, because it wouldn't make any sense at all. I mean, Mae Young giving birth to a hand is pretty bad, but a retard turning regular is really, really out there.

The master manipulator idea is great, but really, what would be the reason for him acting like a retard the whole time? What did he get out of it? What did ANYONE get out of it? He had no motive. I guess they could play it off that he just liked to trick the fans, but there's too much extra stuff to cover, like the whole situation with him being Bischoff's nephew. Bischoff would had to have been involved, and it just complicates the situation even worse.

Still, the best option is to come up with a really great reason for him to act like a retard (to trick the fans and prove how stupid they are; Bischoff's reasoning could be that he was targeting the "special" fans to get more ratings), or put a mask on him and send him to Smackdown.

No matter what, they really fucked over Nick Dinsmore on this one.

I think he should just wrestle every week, and occassionly have a storyline. He's fun to watch, and not really someone who shouls always be in the main event spotlight. Just let him wrestle in and out every week.

I still think that at an event like Survivor Series (That's coming up! YAY!), Eugene should joni the random faces an dheels running in, then he can get a steel chair and start dancing around like Eugene, while William Regal goes to pick-up Triple H, then all of a sudden, Eugene stands up straight and looks......normal. Eugene brands William Regal's spine with the steel chair and nails all the faces involved in this match. Eugene Dinsmore goes to the back as the fans will no doubt boo, knowing they've been played.

The night after, Eugene's music hits and out comes a shaved Nick Dinsmore, with a ring jacket saying "suckers" on the back or something. Nick cuts a promo about how he has been treated his entire life. He was forced into acting classes, business classes and the such, but all he wanted to do was to be a wrestler. He got that opportunity, when his uncle Eric Bischoff signed him a RAW contract. Out marches Eric Bischoff.

Bischoff stares his nephew down in the ring, then gives him a big hug. Bischoff tells us how his nephew Nick Dinsmore has been a trained werstler for years (how else would be be able to take down William Regal), how he's a great actor (which is how he deceived us), but most importantly, like his very proud uncle, Nick is a great businessman. It was his idea that these fans would be a sucker for someone acting retarded. It was Nick who knew that the 99% of retarded Americans would tune in every week, and show up to every event just because "Eugene" was there.

I bet Nick Dinsmore $200,000 that he couldn't pull it off, but I htink it's safe to say Nick won that bet. Bischoff hands over a briefcase, but out comes Regal who manages to knock both men down, and takes the briefcase. Regal then goes throught he crowd giving out money for cheap face pops.

Anyway, Bischoff gives his nephew control of RAW while he's gone for a month (which pisses of the fans because they wanted to see it run by Triple H/Batista/Edge/Gene Snitsky. Bischoff also gives Nick Dinsmore officiating powers (so he can DQ his opponent's in his matches, call fake submissions, etc.), and gives him the title "Chief of Staff".

It would be awkward at first, but after time heel Nick Dinsmore would really get over, and as the spoilt kid that thinks he can do anything he wants because he can do anything he wants would really egt him over as a heel, IMO.

a big swerve like that. Is just what the company needs. Remember the genious story telling at SS 98 when Vince screwed Austin out of the title leading to the HUGE swerve Rock title win? That was brilliant storytelling from stat to finish. I know that a Eugene turn is not quite the same but it will have the same effects and will DRAW people in to watch Raw every Monday

I don't know how the f*** it happened, and i dont wanna know either, but I had some strange dream that Eugene showed up somewhere where his uncle Eric was, and he was older and not nearly as goofy as he is on TV, and his hair was much nicer looking than on TV, and he was actually wearing a BLACK SUIT with a white DRESS SHIRT and NECKTIE!, and all of a sudden, Eric and Eugene were hugging and making up and then thankfully it all ended before it ended up turning into some nightmare I would've thought was from "Queer Eye..."

It was Nick who knew that the 99% of retarded Americans would tune in every week, and show up to every event just because "Eugene" was there.

I bet Nick Dinsmore $200,000 that he couldn't pull it off, but I htink it's safe to say Nick won that bet. Bischoff hands over a briefcase, but out comes Regal who manages to knock both men down, and takes the briefcase. Regal then goes throught he crowd giving out money for cheap face pops.

Anyway, Bischoff gives his nephew control of RAW while he's gone for a month (which pisses of the fans because they wanted to see it run by Triple H/Batista/Edge/Gene Snitsky. Bischoff also gives Nick Dinsmore officiating powers (so he can DQ his opponent's in his matches, call fake submissions, etc.), and gives him the title "Chief of Staff".

It would be awkward at first, but after time heel Nick Dinsmore would really get over, and as the spoilt kid that thinks he can do anything he wants because he can do anything he wants would really egt him over as a heel, IMO.

I do have a bit of an imagination, but that can't hurt unless the government somehow realises that people are starting to use the section of the brain which can pierce past their mind wave reading frequencies, allowing them to lose control over our society and causing terrorist attacks not under their control and not used by our one-world government to allow them unlimited access to Earth's resources, by giving them a justifyed reason to send forces into other countries.
