Was that actually someone? I remember seeing the name on signs a lot through the Attitude era and just recently again during the Victory Road ppv.

Yes - it is actually someone.

Tye Dye Guy (or TDG) is a super fan who attends just about every major event that there is. The guy has been doing this for YEARS now, and is known by nearly every wrestler and wrestling fan out there.

He lives in Florida, but travels the US. He had been taking time away from doing so until just recently when he started up again. Usually, he gets pops from fans, and people even ask to take pictures with him and such.

I remember back when ECW used to come to Florida, TDG had a great worked heat with The Dudleys - who'd even jump the barricades and get right into his face to get heat from the crowd. It was amazing.

REALLY nice guy, and really likes the fans and the business.
