Halloween 4
I watched this film the other day and the ending completly left me in a "WTF" state of mind.

Anyway the ending is like this *BLACK SPOILER FONT*

After being chased out towards the county line, Michael Myers finds himself being blown to pieces by a million bullets thanks to the police and falls down some abandon mine or something. When the people get home, the sister of Myer's neice gets killed by the neice in the clown suit with a pair of scissors. At the end, the old cop guy screams "NOOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOOO" and we see the little girl breathing heavy with the scissors in her hand.

This confussed me abit, had *BLACK FONT SPOILER* the girl been possest by Myers' spirit, after she touched his hand or did she gone nutts herself or what happened?

She just went nuts since she's in a mental institute at the start of the next one. But perhaps they meant for her to take over Michael's job but then that French dick who made the next one decided to change it. Wouldn't be surprised at all since it was a little strange when the girl touched Mikey's hand at the end.

Slight? That would be an understatement. That ending was definitely odd. Unfortunately in the Halloween univers though now 3-6 never happened

I guess I should watch the 5th one to find out more. But that ending just came out of nowhere really without any real explanation.
