I just wish that we could see LSU play USC - that would be a GREAT game. It would be such a great match-up with LSU's defense against USC's offense. My bet would be on the Tigers. They completely shut down OU's offense - their only scores came because of their defense. Heisman my ass!

Man, I would love to have USC play LSU. Tigers have a great defense, but USC's is pretty darn good too, and we have the high powered offense that actually matured during the season. We'll never know, though. Oh well, I still say USC is better, but then again, I'm biased.

Keep in my that this is not like 1997 where Michigan and Nebraska were co-champs. There was no BCS back then so they both were champs, although if you ask just about anyone they will all say that the 97 Michigan team would have whooped ass against that Nebraska 'team'. Since there is a new system, LSU is technically the champ but will have asterick next to it.

Also, who had the best record in bowl games?

I know SEC went 5-2, should have been 6-1 or 7-0 if Florida wouldn't have choked and Tennessee would have played worth a ****.
