internet problem
This happened last Friday because I wanted to order Armageddon on Sunday
Ok, I got home at 3, went on computer. Everything was working. The internet was on, it was all good. I then left to pick up the cable box from Comcast, I went home and I unplugged some cable things I think and pluigged them into the cable box to make that work on the tv. Once I did that, I went to go on comp, but the internet was out. It would not go on. I tried unplugging it I think and it still didn’t work. Now, the internet is still out. All the lights seem to be on as well (on the modem I have, theres 5 lights i believe). anyone have any suggestions? |

if i follow you correctly you unplugged the coax cable (the kind that plugs into your cable box from the wall) from your cable modem. Which would take away your signal. If you need them for both cable TV and the cable modem, try buying a spliter from Radio Shack or wal mart. Split the signal one to your box and one to your Cable Modem. Also, try unplugging your cable modem for about 30 seconds and plugging it back in after you do this.
