Y2J will be known as the first undisputed Champion. ( even if the hardcore NWA fans say he is only the first WWF/WCW unified champion.)

I think fans will remember Jericho more for his first Raw appearance, which took place during the heyday of the WWF/E boom period.
Jericho's Undisputed title reign occurred when ratings were relatively down (as compared to the previous year), and fans were losing interest due to a poorly booked Invasion angle. |

None of those.
He'll simply be remembered as an exteamly talented and entertaining guy who was vastly under used. A "Victim of Triple H" if you will. |

YES, Jericho was underused, which was evident in WCW, and now evident in WWE. In WCW, Jericho had a program set up to feud with Goldberg (who was WCW champion at the time). This main-even push was haulted by head booker Kevin Nash, who believed Jericho's size was of concern. Long story short, Jericho never did get that push. Upon entering WWE, Jericho's future seemed bright...at least for the first few months. A feud with Chyna, and a very long losing streak was remedied when he had his victory over HHH overturned. Of course, Jericho was buried afterwards, and the WWF/E wasn't excited about the possibilty of Jericho being a main event player when a particular episode of Raw revolved around him (this was when the Rock was out for a show, and WWF/E tested the attractiveness Jericho being the main face. I believe he had 3 matches that one night). Or maybe Jericho was underused because McMahon disapproved of his size. In any case, Jericho cleaned poo...went on a losing streak...won the Undisputed title, but did anyone care? Yes, the internet fans did, but ultimately it was obvious that HHH would be champion and that Jericho would be headed towards the shackles of mid-carderdom. In any case, Jericho has proven to be the most consistent performer on Raw for the past 3 years. His promos are top-notch (although I think he is slacking lately), and his wrestling is terrific. Wrestling fans are quick to forget, and Jericho's Undisputed title reign will not come to mind as fast as HHH domination of the World title for nearly 2+ years. |

You would think Jericho being the first guy to unify the WCW and WWF World Titles would be something nobody would ever forget. But its 4 years later, and it seems about as meaningful as HHH being a 9 time world champion.
I still go back and watch the tape of Jericho's debut on RAW, and that still sticks out in my mind as the best thing he's ever done in the company. Which is so very sad actually. |

I'll remember him as the first Undisputed Champion, his Raw debut and his great matches in WWE, WWF, and WCW.
I think a lot of people will remember him for his debut on Raw, his countless losses to HHH and the Highlight real, which in my opinion is a travasty. |

If I remember right, didn't Jericho spazz out on internet smarks after his KOTR match with RVD? I believe he said he was fed up with the fans and their critique of the match, something along those lines.
Just thought I'd toss that in. |

It is a tie, both his debut and the "it never happened" WWF Championship win over Triple H.
These two events had me jumping out of my seat marking out. |

I think his feud with Christian will be remembered most by the average fan. That is unless something more momentous happens.
I think they'll remember because of all the soap opera elements. Yes, the Undisputed Title had soap opera elements but really it wasn't used to push a feud between HHH/Jericho but more like HHH/Steph. For fans who watched WCW I think that will stand out too giving that he was so hilarious. |

Really the undisputed championship thing is just a bullshit label. Fact is, any world title holder is the undisputed champ, no? Think about it.
Within the ranks of the company, anyone who has ever been world champ, is the undisputed champ. He shouldnt be best recalled for that as it doesnt really mean anything anyways. He'll best be remembered for just being a talented, entertaining wrestler imo..if you want a specific moment though with jericho it is hard to pick as none really step above the rest..I'd say his teaming with Benoit for me personally stands out. |

In all honesty, he will be remembered in the record books as the 1st Undisputed champion. As for the fans, they will remember him for well, none of those events, or maybe more of a main event jobber. He has his moments but he could have other moments, including his title wins, seem more epic but many things stand in his way and just lower him down than where he deserves to be. **coughcough MAYBETRIPLE H coughcough**
He will just be remembered for having a great amount of talent and pulling off some hilarious segments. Poor Jericho, my hero. |

I persoanlly think he will be remembered for just how entertaining he was. But anyway, when he's long gone, I think "Good Ol" Robot JR will be telling us how Jericho was the man who brought the WCW and WWF Titles together. I persoanlly think/hope that that unification will become something more important in future years.

Let's see, he unified the two most important titles in wrestling history, I'd say this is a no-brainer.

I can't really decide between his Undisputed title reign or his debut on Raw. Think I'll go with his debut. Just loved that whole segment. Lights off, the explosion and then his music and video start playing and the whole arena starts cheering when the word JERICHO appears on the screen and then he was standing in front of the entrance way. Classic moment.
Like everyone has said I will really remember Jericho for being an awesome all round performer. |

I would say, by the average fan, his awesomeness in the ring, so far, anyway.
I believe that eventually, and hopefully sooner than later, he will get the recognition from WWE he deserves. Maybe Triple H will let it happen, maybe Triple H will be taken out for a while, or maybe he'll step out of wrestling all together. When that happens, Jericho will reign supreme, hopefully. And that will be what he'll be remembered for. |

His reign as Undisputed Champion...let's face it, for alot of people (myself included) history is only what we read. Anything that goes beyond the 1980's...it's all about what I read. Title histories for that matter are very important. They serve as a marker. And I think if anyone realises the WCW vs. WWF real life feud...the combination of the two titles will serve as an incredible marker of his accomplishments. Jericho has even said in interviews that when that happened he did more in one night then he ever dreamed he could do. I agree completly agree. I mean think back one decade. How inconcevable was it that Chris Jericho (a relative ECW no-name) would be the man to unify the WCW World Heavyweight Championship (held by Ric Flair) and the WWF Championship (held by Diesel). For as much as the reign wasn't impressive, nor has his angles been since then, he can always carry with him the fact that the promotion he worked for had such faith in him as to allow him to unify the two Titles, and go over the two biggest stars in the industry at the time (The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin).
