winning streaks
I was just thinking about it, and, in regards to winning streaks since last years wrestlemania, we see that:
JBL has the best record (presumably), has only lost in tag matches John Cena has lost, I believe, 4 singles matches and he has had alot of singles matches. WHILST... HHH has lost numerous singles matches (3 to Shelton Benjamin, 3 to Benoit (2 triple-threats) and has also lost a host of tag matches (like over 15 probably.) MY POINT: Does this make JBL a more established champion than HHH? I'm inclined to say yes personally. anywayz, opinions...if any.... Top 5 Favourite wrestlers: 1. Carlito Cool 2. Chris Benoit 3. Randy Orton 4. Christian 5. Kurt Angle |

Anytime anything happens on Raw, HHH wins.
If he's hogging the title we complain, but he wins. If he's jobbing 2 or 3 times in a row we give him props, thus he wins again. DAMN YOU PAUL LEVESQUE! ![]() |

![]() Admittedly, JBL's win over Angle continued to boost his credibility from rock bottom. I mean, I'd say that was his second credible victory since becoming champ, but it helps. Keep it on him till Wrestlemania. They've gone so far that they can't do any worse by keeping it on him. Although if they do call him a "legend" in the future, I'll puke in my pants. |

JBl credible?? yeah right. has he ever had a title match that hasn't had interference by either heidenreich or his cabinet?? Every match he has someone interfere to distract someone or beat them up for him. The only match I can remember is the cage match with eddie?
At least HHH beat randy orton clean at the rumble (well no outside interference). Even though he lost the title to benoit and lost to shelton twice and hte multiple tag matches, he is at least an established main eventer rather than an upper mid carder out of place like JBL who can't seemingly beat his opposition without help. In my eyes anyway, HHH is more established due to the way he wins the title (plus the fact he's won it so many times against so many different opponents). |

as for Bradshaw he has improved greatly since holding the strap. As for credible victories sure he hasnt had many the title win and rumbple are the only ones that come to mind but im sure other people have cheated to retain. I think when he drops the title give him a US title run i think that would elevate that championship |

HHH holds the edge over JBL. JBL has not yet been able to prove how much of a champion that he can be. But I must say that he has really made the WWE title look nice. Some of his wins, a lot of his wins, may not have been the best lookin or anythin but who wants to see him lose that title?
I mean he is makin that title somethin now. I mean the HHH title on Raw is just nothing that it used to be. It's his title. As soon as he loses it the focus of the show is still on him and his feud then he gets back to the title hunt ant wins it back from someone that was about to blow up huge (Orton). Whereas JBL holds on to that title. The only way to beat him is to outsmart him. Skin the cat. Not always easy but it can be done. But credit must be given where it is due, JBL has somewhat helped the title. |

If you think a little further into it than him being given the title, about how long he has been with the company and how many roles he has played, how many stupid gimmicks/gimmick matches he has had to do.
Bar Room Brawl Last man standing match anyone???? Sure he isn't a stellar worker but he does what he needs to do and is excellent on the mic. Thus he actually deserves to be in the HOF |

I dont see what's wrong in being a coward wwe champion,
So JBL hasn't one a clean effective title match It generate more intrest because people want to see him not get away with it, Not every champion should be a strong heel champion like Kurt, or Brock was, and not every wwf champion can. and like its stated above,JBL has been with the company, a long time, he deserves his moment, to shine, and some of his promos have been half decent, |

Why is everyone player hating JBL? Why is it when people say that WWE doesn't create new stars, then when WWE makes JBL into a new credible star, they have to hate on him.

JBL is everything a heel champion should be. He gets every kind of heat imaginable, he can tell a story in the ring, and he can cut a slick promo. He's not written to get clean victories because he's the consummate heel. When people say "WWE doesn't create enough stars," a lot of times what they mean is "WWE doesn't create the kind of stars I want," aka the main event cards arent all Benoits, Jerichos, Gurrerros and Angles. Oh and btw, I wouldn't count on JBL dropping the belt at WM21. If you look at the record since the roster split, both times the true main event slot has seen a title change (Angle/ Lesnar and HHH/HBK/Benoit,) while the secondary title match has been a retention (HHH/Booker T, Gurrerro/Angle.) Unless JBL is booked against someone like Cena (I can't think of another real face rising star on SD), I wouldn't count on a title change. |

Since when does a heel champion ever get clean wins?
Doink the clown never won his IC title matches cleanly (he was ic champ i think) HHH rarely wins his matches cleanly. I don't see the need for wrestlers to always win clean, as i said to Coldwaver, if a wrestler wins matches clean consistently, he generally becomes a face |

JBL stays over by teasing us with a title change to a better superstar who can actually wrestle, and never giving it to us. He's the cock-tease of professional wrestling.

JBL is the most entertaining person I've seen on WWE TV for years. I'm sick of HHH, The Undertaker, and Randy Orton, there's no charisma there... I'm sick of the Hurricane and Rey Jr and some 1st rate cruiserweights being underused... I'm sick of Jericho doing the same crap, beniot and eddy doing the same crap. And RVD who? JBL is awesome, he brings entertainment to the WWE, and I'm pretty sure that's what the E Stands for. |

I'll admit JBL is very entertaining. Great character, great promo, gret presence, cool stable. But I'll never get over how many times he's jobbed during his career and how he won the Title without ever really beating anybody. He's still a midcarder in my eyes. If they pushed him to win the US Title and then the World Title, he would be a lot more over then he is now.
