aston shell

i downloaded aston shell last month and liked it very much. but it's a free trial. after the trial you need to pay to keep using it. so i thought i would switch back to explorer, delete aston shell and re-download it to keep the free trial going. but as it turns out, i can't use the shell swapper to go back to explorer because i can't use any of the aston features until i pay $30 and register. and i can't add/remove aston shell unless i switch to explorer first.

how can i solve this dilemma?
