I Met Kurt Angle/House Show
I was able to go to a trade show on Saturday because Kurt freaking Angle was there. I went with a couple friends, since I was kind of starstruck, they said that I was a big Kurt fan. I got him to sign my program of when he was GM, and he said "there's me in my cruddy GM job". He was real friendly and took time to sign autographs, and take pictures with us. Mine will be posted shortly.

Then later on in the night, I went with the same friends, plus a couple other people to a SmackDown house show at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The guy who ordered the tickets got us 2nd row ringside, definitely the best seats I've ever had. They didn't have the new Angle shirt, so I bought the Ruck Fules shirt, as well as the new RAW/SmackDown shirt.

I don't remember all of the results, but here's the jist:

Theodore Long welcomed us all, and gave us the big matches.

Tag Title Match - Mysterio and Eddie pinned the Bashams. Even with a house show, Eddie and Rey still came out in a lowrider. Typical cheating from Eddie. After being admonished by the ref for being to close, Eddie untied the tag rope, so he could move closer to where Rey was. Of course he was caught, and the ref had to tie it back. I believe Eddie got the frog splash to win.

Next up a Best Body Challenge - Miss Jackie v Dawn Marie. Scotty 2 Hotty emceed. Jackie won.

Hardcore Holly, Charlie Haas pinned Johnny Nitro, Joey Matthews with Melina.
One guy in our row yelled to Holly that he sucks, in which Holly replied "you swallow".

Fatal 4-way Elimination Cruiserweight title - Funaki v Paul London v Spike v Chavo. Funaki eliminated first by Spike, so he caused Spike to be eliminated. Chavo would eventually beat London by using the ropes.

Intermission

US Title - John Cena pinned Orlando Jordan. Cena nearly blew the roof off with a HUGE pop. A bunch of us in the front were heckling Jordan with "VIRGIL" chants. We did it so much, Cena got the mic and said "I think these people are trying to tell you something?" Cena would win with the F-U.

Booker T pinned Heidenreich with the scissors kick. Afterwards Heidenreich was losing it again. He started ringing the ring bell, then he hit his head with the ring bell a couple times. He then finally crawled to the back.

Rene Dupree v Mark Jindrak was next. Dupree was sporting another nice shiner. Luther came out and attacked Jindrak causing a DQ. So Long came out and yelled at Luther, then made it into a tag match with the Undertaker.

Undertaker, Mark Jindrak defeated Dupree, Luther Reigns.

Main Event time JBL with Orlando v Big Show. JBL had to make fun of everyone including Detroit teams. Most of it was true though. Still during the match, we were on Jordan with the "Virgil" chants. He was getting pissed and stayed away from our side. After getting bored with chanting "Virgil', someone eventually changed it to "Virgin".

Eventually the Bashams would interfere and cause the DQ. Cena ran out as he and Big Show cleared house.

Sorry if it's too long, but I had one hell of a time. 2nd row ringside seats made it that much better. My voice was basically gone until sometime Sunday. I should have pics from the show up in the next few days.

Hell Yeah I did. I'm trying to upload the pic but its not letting me right now. I was starstruck, and couldn't get much out. He even personalized my autograph and it took me a second or 2 to remember my name. But best of all was how down to earth he was. I got a chance to shake his hand too.

I wonder when Johnny Nitro will be back on TV...in any form. I wonder if the whole thing of putting him and mathews together is the start of a Tough Enough team. I always thought it should of been done with Maven and Nitro....Well cant wait for Nitro to be back on tv again....

I say that since Im a heel fan and liked Nitro as a heel.

I got to meet Kurt Angle backstage last year when Smackdown came down to Sydney Australia due to a Starlight Children's Foundation wish. Truely wonderful experience.

it's funny coming from hooly since that's the way he probably keeps his job, on another note when i went to see the smackdown show in sydney last year, everyone in the crowd was giving heyman crap, and this one guy yelled out "you suck" to heyman and heidenreich, while heyman was talking and heyman replied with " yeah, i may suck but your momma tought me how"

that was pricless coz the guy was real shamed out.
